I've criticized him for poor play, I've never belittled him, said he should be traded or called him a team cancer.

Dez is calling out those folks so I don't know why you would have any issue with what he said. Those "fans" are despicable and so are the ones who turned on Dak the moment he faced some adversity in his rookie year. Those Romo stans look foolish today and Dez is speaking for everyone when he says stay off the bandwagon now.

Can you not see the difference between "hey chap get it together, you're better than this" versus "oh my God the 12-2 quarterback just threw another incompletion, get the backup in before this whole thing collapses..."?

Honestly, I don't even know why I admitted to being critical of Dez, I've probably made two or three critical comments of him in my entire existence on this site and that came after last game.

The fact of the matter is Dez's quote was not referring to me, it was referring to the whiny bunch that were looking to bench Dak last week at the first hint of adversity. I never wavered and thoroughly enjoyed his performance yesterday. If that makes me a loyal "Dak Stan" so be it, but I ain't a hypocrite.

I don't blame Dez at all. Fans going nuts because of a loss that took the Cowboys to 11-2? and now is 12-2? lol people need to get a grip and back this team while putting their own agenda on hold for a change. I have always supported Romo and wish things would have gone different for him, he is a good guy and a great QB but fact his Dak is the starting QB of the Cowboys and that is not likely to change. The kid has played great ball for most of the season and as soon as he hits a bump in the road people start wanting him benched? Thankfully the coaching staff is not into making knee jerk changes and understand even vet player will have off games but you back them you stick with them and allow them to work through it. Dallas did that with Dak and he came through playing a great ball game
