What more do you expect from a Rookie who has missed all of the preseason games due to injury?

I would have been shocked if he did not look confused at times.

Hmm. A rookie WR. Hasn't played a game in over a year.

Hmm....

You might be on to something, here.

A rookie who missed a ton of training camp and all of preseason. So this is a surprise?

the whole offense looked confused a lot of the time...which again has Garret to blame.

I think it's to be expected a little bit with Bryant though, he hasn't played a down in a long time and has had no work with the first stringers.

Yet, he was the go-to guys for a short time close to the end of the game.

Dez played awesome for being on the biggest stage in the biggest of rivalries in the clutch. Props to him - other than the miscue on the hot route, he looked like a seasoned veteran on the 2-minute drill.

Barron on the other hand? Cut that piece of ****.

This^^^

Dez was great in his debut and had 8 receptions and caught just about everything thrown his way. The kid is going to be a star.

I still love that kid. Unfortunately this team is lead by mental midgets and yet I think we can still overcome that.

receiver is complicated for a rookie....even a talented one. Plus this was his first real game action in almost a year. It is a little bit more intense than running in shorts and pads.

He will have growing pains but I think this team is going to need him sooner rather than later.

I'll take 8 for 56 any day; the offense looked generally dazed at times, maybe it was the crowd noise, who knows.

Shame that Austin's performance will be an afterthought as Barron had more penalites than we had yards.

Dez looked great for his first game. He made a lot of clutch catches. The bottom line is he is ALREADY looks wildly better than Roy.

Lets see...A rookie who missed most of his last year in college and most of training camp and all of the preseason games and he was confused...go figure.

Ummm....no one is suprised he had some rookie moments....but for the most part he was VERY good and seems to have an inferno burning inside him to be great!

And he was still the second biggest weapon on the offense tonight.

Take out his only mistake of the game when he ran the wrong route and Romo fired the ball his way in a short slant play i doubt this thread would even exist.

Dez was impressive and did you guys see how strong he is? He flipped a couple of guys over after catching the ball.
