Options:
1. Cowboys didn't value the slot WR position.
2. Beasley wasn't versatile enough to justify bigger role.
Obviously Beasley is never going to think it was option #2; therefore, by default he assumes it's #1.
Most really small WRs that get a big roles have elite speed which Beasley does not possess.
- Beasley 5-8, 174, 4.49 forty
- Hard to think of many as small as Beasley.
- Tavon Austin 5-8, 179 had a bigger role with the Rams for a few years. Probably as fast as any current nfl player.
- Steve Smith 5-9, 184 when drafted, 4.39 forty.
- DeSean Jackson bigger & faster than Beasley
- Brandin Cooks bigger & faster
- Tyreek Hill bigger & faster
Most smallish WRs with bigger roles than Beasley that don't have elite speed are players with more size than Beasley.
- Beasley 5-8, 174
- Edelman 5-10, 200
- Randall Cobb 5-10, 192
