Dez isn't very good disengaging himself from a physical CB who jams him. He's fine if he gets free release.

For Dez to be MORE effective he needs to learn to get off the line of scrimmage quicker and run sharper routes or else he will have problems with better CBs in the league.

It really speaks volumes. When Bennett messed up yesterday, Romo just glared at him and shook his head. When Dez made a costly mistake Tony goes right back to him. :starspin

When he completely messed up 1 drive, you could tell he was hurt and sorry. He went and said sorry to Coach, and to Romo. That to me shows a lot. Someone like TO would of found a way to blame somebody.

Then we still had trust in him to go back. You could tell he was thankful, hugging Coach, telling him thanks.

I saw that. He's not a bad guy, just immature. He still doesn't understand the type of commitment it takes to be great. But, the guy wants to win and has passion for the game. The light bulb will come on eventually.

And the reason that the light bulb will come on is in your post - he's a good guy. He's not going to be in legal trouble, and he's not a goof like Bennett. He's just young (like 21 or 22?) and has a lot to learn about the NFL.

Our WR corps is going to be pretty good for a long time.

Scandrick also has a similar drive and passion on the defensive side of the ball.

I noticed that when he dropped those two passes, he kept fidgeting with his face, reaching inside his facemask and looked to be fairly upset. I'm wondering if he got poked in the eye or had something in his eye that was bothering him. I loved seeing him go talk to Garrett and Romo and he made up for it with that TD pass. There aren't many WRs that make that catch!

Seemed to me that he was looking for a hands to face penalty after that drop. I also seem to remember him appear to spit blood and have a really red tounge after the drop...? Anyone have the video?

I'm glad he dropped them. It got a chance to show us, how he would react to that.
