Good. Good to see the press botched another.

i have no idea why people listen to a thing they say anymore. it's no longer factual based but twitter based. news used to be verified now it's just "oh someone said" and a huge gossip trail.

In reality it is almost certain Dez does not know himself how long he will be out...I don't think it's unreasonable to think 6-12 weeks more likely 8-12 at this point

Cowboys Execs Confident Dez Is Still On Original Schedule For Recovery

PHILADELPHIA – There’s been no change in Dez Bryant’s prognosis for return, as far as the Cowboys’ front office is concerned.

Reports surfaced early Thursday morning that an added procedure – a bone graft, to be exact – would add weeks onto Bryant’s return from a broken metatarsal. Those reports suggested an absence of 10-to-12 weeks, as opposed to the initial report of six-to-eight.

Following Sunday’s 20-10 win against the Eagles, Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones said Bryant is on the same schedule as expected.

“In no way, in our opinion, will that prolong and increase the amount of time Dez Bryant will be out,” Jones said. “That’s just wrong.”

Jones pointed out that DeMarcus Lawrence had the same procedure done last year when he broke his foot during his rookie training camp. The Cowboys opted to send him to the short-term IR, sidelining him until Week 9, but Jones said his recovery time was quicker than that.

Week 11. Romo and Dez both return to play against Miami. And we are sitting at 6-3. I think we will be ok.

Who makes it back first? Dez or Tony?

We'll know more about Romo today.
There are mainly two types of Clavicle breaks. With one, you can get back in 5-6 weeks, but the other is generally closer to 8-10 weeks.

If by some miracle, it's the 5-6 week kind, that's a HUGE difference. That could potentially be 3 or 4 games that we'd have him that we weren't expecting. Man, if we can just hold on until Tony and Dez are back...

In the last 20 games that Romo has started for Dallas, they are 16-4.

But I do think Weeden is much more ready this year to drive the bus. And the defense is finally in position to carry the team through a few games almost on their own.
