Dez Updates via Rappoport

I've said all along he wouldn't be back and some posters mocked me as if I was a doctor.

I just can't see how a bone can heal in 5 weeks when it's the bone you have to run and leap off of.

Smart money is on a return vs Seattle, if the information on Dez's progress from Rappaport and others is accurate.

I wasn't among those that mocked you, but the fact is that nobody knows. We're all different. Dez could have healed at any pace. The original timetable for his return was set at 4-6 weeks; and so far that appears to have been correct.

The ESPN reports that said 10-12 weeks are the ones looking quite stupid right now.

He won't play but that's ok.. I'm not risking our 2nd most valuable player to rushing him back. Hold dez back from himself.

ESPN had a sports physician on. He said the fastest anyone has returned from that injury is 5.5 weeks and the average is 8.5 weeks w a 20% chance of refracture.

lol at 90 percent of the media that reported he would be out 12 weeks. Those people are just Cowboy haters and were secretly hoping it was gonna be 12 weeks. Dez is a warrior. If he's not back this week he'll be ready for the Seahawks game... and lord knows we'll need him for that game.

I would think Philly is more likely. Especially if they win next week. But I got my medical degree and my coaching credentials out of a box of Cracker Jacks. So my opinion may not be all that valid.......

the only piece of information I want to know is what Dez bone scanned showed. Is the bone 100% healed? I could see tuesday as day for rescan. If fully healed let Dez do his thing wed & thur.

Yup...that's my feeling as well. This thing is gonna linger all season long like what hapened to Kevin Durant. And it may not be the same....even when they clear him. Sucks :banghead:

There trying to back up their 10-12 week prediction...lol
