Is anyone else as excited about this matchup as i am? Dez looked to be getting back his conditioning last week, and its pretty obvious to say now, that foot looks fine. Im hoping for another dominating performance from at least Dez this week. Anyone else? Or is everyone too dejected from Sunday to even be happy that Dez is back and getting back into the swing of things.

He might not practice this week, hopefully he will be fine by Sunday

Hoping for great game.

Just fyi, New York has the 32nd ranked pass defense--as far as passing yards allowed--and Tampa has the 10th best. But barring double teams, Dez is pretty matchup proof.

Yeah if you watch his TD catch again he really dodged a bullet with his knee - it cold've been really bad.

They are going to be careful with him. I think he'll get his touches and be used as a decoy which will lead to Beasley being effective again but again I think the game plan going in will be very conservative and not give the ball away.

With our quarterback play to expect anybody having a big day is being very optimistic.

Our QB looked pretty locked in on Sunday minus that pick 6. Dez had a great game considering its Cassel and hes 2 games in after surgery. Thats just my opinion though.

2 problems.......

1. Gotta have a QB to get him the ball...(which we don't)

2. Sterling Moore is chomping @ the bit to get a piece of Dez. Watch out:omg:

Dez is the best in the game. I have no doubt he'll have a big day. We actually moved him around Sunday night. Hopefully we keep doing that. Creates more one on one opportunities especially if Beasley has another big day. Tampa has a stingy D, but they also gave up a huge second half to Kirk Cousins who is basically a slightly better version of Matt Cassel. We can win this game, but somehow we'll find a way to lose. Like we always do,

New York has the 32nd ranked pass defense--as far as passing yards allowed--and Tampa has the 10th best.
Yards don't correlate to wins though. Tennessee, Chicago, Houston, and Washington are all top 10 pass defenses, according to yards allowed.

Buc's Pass Defense
Completion % allowed 70.0 (31st)
TD% allowed 7.0 (31st)
1st down% allowed 37.9 (32nd)
Defensive Pass Rating 105.7 (29th)

Always excited for Dez. I want to see more Beasley similar to Sunday night and would love more Whitehead in their as well.

Say what you want about Cassel, I am not a fan but he did get the ball to his receivers last game and I don't believe the Bucs have an all world secondary.

Minus the pick 6 AND the Dez touchdown pass. Sorry Cassel got lucky, that ball was about as ugly as the Giants lob interception. That is a ball you should never throw and if that is any receiver besides Dez, it is a pick and points off the board.

I am guessing 2 wr's over 100 yards one with 2 Td's does not constitute a big day??

But if it were Tony it's great improvision?
