i think he said cliff harris is going to come up on show; showed some new OTAs at camp including smoe of the razorback formation

talked to keith brooking, smooth getting acquaited with cowboys, have great work ethic and great lockerroom, impressed way guys come to work, this is the most talented tema i have been on

showed footage of players on defense;
my 11 years in atlanta back to keith brooking; the way you carry yourself, dont cmoe in and throw your weight around, but show how you work hard and way you can help and let the leadership role develop with me, paraphasing here

football has to be high on your list to survive as long as i have been here;
you deal with issues if they come, like in atlanta we had like 2 cameras but here like 40 cameras, but any problems come up, you deal with it, everything is magnified here, but you deal with it and move on

brady says he was a very vocal leader, so hopefully in time keith can take over with some leadership

cliff harris is coming up

cliff harris on right now;
talking about diabetes deal with golf tournament to get money etc

mike hamlin might be starting safety with ken hamlin, showed footage of mike

understanding the system, if he can fit in and all his strenghts match wades defense, will be a perfect match, cliff harris how he blossomed his first year as a rookie

cliff has met sensabaugh; he is a nice guy, intelilgence is there, you know that position demands a lot of elements to tackle and speed to cover, and right size speed, very critical position in todays game; allows corners to play better if your good at safety

the free safety is more institive position, the free safety is the last line of defense;

cbs talk with cliff; talked about newman having injuries, and brady said he alluded to seeing newman on sideline too much, you need to be on the field newman, now newman talked about this brady said

cbs position is the toughest postiion, pass coverage is the most critical for cb

now to offense from cliff; showing footage again;
hopefully my good buddy DC or theebs can post podcast for you fans

cliff says he saw razorback formation, eluded to his son playing for razorbacks
demands a complete different mindset with speed of felix in there, opens up the game so much;

mindset this team needs to have cliff; very specifically get to the superbowl, bob lily said to me, in a huddle, were going to the superbowl rookie and i dont want you to do anything to mess it up, you have to have a leader on the defense to do that; thats where the core starts, i think romo is going tobe a very great qb and the potential with this team next year

I am going to podcast this in a few, but I am starting a new thread in the NFL zone because Cliff Harris isn't on the active roster any longer.

I have been saying this when guys like Ray Lewis were mentioned. You develop your role as a leader no one walks in off the street to a new team and becomes an instant leader you prove yourself to you new teammates no matter what you did any where else

exactly, how you work in offseasoning conditioning, studying film, working hard in practices, etc, then you show leadership and some players might follow you,

You always have to prove yourself when you come to a new team it does not matter who you are.

If you play football long enough, you are going to eventually have to battle some injuries.

Newman played from 2003-2006 and didn't miss a game.

Newman missed two games in 2007 and was put in the Pro Bowl for the first time, and it was way past over due. Newman should have multiple Pro Bowls on his resume. DeAngelo "Toast" Hall has two of them for sure.

Last year, Newman had a guy fall on him in a non-contact drill during training camp. The guy fell on him awkwardly and caused Newman the injury. Newman tried to play through it and had to have the operation due to the sports hernia that developed from trying to play injured.

Newman got hurt at Carolina last year but played through it when he obviously wasn't 100%.

Now, it appears that Newman got kneed in the quad.

If it was a real game week, Newman would be playing.

It isn't like Newman is running around and pulling muscles.

One guy fell on him, and he had the foot condition (probably from that terrible turf in San Antonio), a condition that Roy Williams and Jason Taylor had in their careers.

After Terence Newman goes out and shuts down Domenick Hixon and Steve Smith (for the third time), we'll see how this over reaction sounds then.

I wasn't fussing at you cowboyjoe.

I really enjoy the stuff you put on here.

Someone needs to tell Cliff Harris that Lynn Swan and John Stallworth are still open. LOL
