first brady says this team needs to show tough physicality, with the mental toughness in december to win out and not coast by winning early in september and october;
cliff says along with what he hears and brady hears that not enough accountability on this team, and leaders. Not enough leaders saying enough is enough, we are going to win this time going to the superbowl and this is waht we need to do to win;
thats what i heard, hopefully DC or theebs can put it up;
also that with the title of wade being the defensive coordinator that now that will open the door for more communication for players going to wade when defense needs adjustments etc during games
leadership and a real commitment to winning a superbowl, cliff says he has seen a great team, but leaders not stepping up mainly team goal to functino as a team and win it, not per say a leader like T O saying im going to catch so many balls etc, but team atmosphere
its kinda like players said about jackie smith all pro te his last year in nfl;
the players said the main reason they; went to the super bowl that year was because of jackie smith, the cowboys werent winning and jackie smith called a closed meeting. (I took one time some heavy flak for having team meetings with players with no coaches) Anyway they said that jackie smith got on to the players and said, look youi guys are great players but you arent practicing like great players. Your just coasting and thinking your unbeatalbe, etc, but your not practicing, hitting like it. The cowboys changed their practice habits, made players accountable and rest was history, the cowboys went to the super bowl that year.
thats what is needed on this team leaders on this team being accountable as well as the coaches; trainers, etc
