boy, Igor is huge and thick, by huge and thick i mean that Igor looks the part of a very good run stopper on defense, that an offensive linemen cant move him out of the line of scrimmage

lol dc, im naive about things sometimes, dont think about things where i could be setting myself up
but with him being huge and thick, which most of you know, he is very strong but not as quick,

i was hoping that he could work or marcus spears would get igor to let randy white work with him on some pass rushing techniques to get away from defensive linemen holding him;

Olshansky just looks fat.

As far as NT goes, I don't think its really that big of a problem. Oh yeah, its nice to have a giant inside to hold things down but if the guy in the middle is playing at the level that Ratliff is, what's it matter? You aren't going to get better production at that spot from any other player on the roster, no matter how much bigger they are than Jay.

I don't really see how its a "Wade way" type of deal. You can want a bigger NT than what you currently have but if that guy isn't going to outperform the current guy, what the hell is the point? Just to conform?

And even if it is "Wade's way", who cares? He's the coach. Its supposed to be his way. If he's not doing things his way, why is he the coach?

Good little interview. It's about time someone talked to the man being asked to replace Superstar Chris Canty.

On your thoughts on the NT/DE thing: So you want to move all three DL to new positions? Because you mentioned Jay taking on the right tackle, right? Do you really think all three guys should be asked to make that big a change?

I still think even Wade would prefer Jay played end. In 2007 he called Ratliff "an undersized end playing nosetackle." But when he's that good on the inside, what's wrong with him staying where he is? Like Hoof said, it doesn't really matter what it looks like. Colombo is thinner and probably looks more like a LT, and Flo is just the opposite and looks more like a RT. But so what if it works?

But... If you want a conspiracy theory, didn't Rat say he was losing a few pounds? And doesn't Igor look much bigger around the middle here than he does in this pic?

Maybe they're making this change and just not telling us. ;)

Igor looks chubby compared to what he usually looks like. I wonder if he's out of shape or Wade wanted him to be heavier than usual. Felix is always smiling:laugh2:

Yikes. Igor is most definitely fatter than he was with the Chargers, he makes Spears look positively svelte. I wonder if he thinks the extra weight will protect him from all the little injuries that have nagged him throughout his career.

Must not be too nagging. He hasn't missed much time in his career.

I'm glad the Cowboys are thinking about starting Felix Jones.

The only mistake is Brady Tinker thinking Felix Jones isn't "built to start" or "carry the ball 16-20 times per game". Felix Jones weighs 212 pounds. Felix is tough. He runs inside, but he's an inside/outside homerun threat every time he touches the ball. You don't have to or want to hammer him like a jack hammer. That is Marion Barber's job. The defense has to defend both edges and the middle when Jones touches the ball, and they better figure out which way he's going.

Chris Johnson played most of last year at 202 pound and ended the year at 194. Johnson rushed for over 1200 yards and made the Pro Bowl while carrying the ball 16.7 times per game. Chris Johnson is no better than Felix Jones.

The Titans wanted to draft Felix Jones.

Felix Jones is a potential 1,000+ yard rusher and a double digit TD player.

The fact that Tinker doesn't think Felix can be featured is comical.

He should go talk to Titans scout C.O. Brocato. Brocato will tell him. He's been a scout for 34 years and is considered one of the best ever, if not the best ever.

There simply will not be enough carries for three running backs, imo. I see primarily a two back system, with the third guy getting limited work.

Any carry distributed away from Felix Jones is absolutely stupid, and I don't think the Cowboys are going to be stupid. They already have a two point loss to Washington, in part, because they choose not to give Felix one, single carry.

Hello...

Felix Jones is one of Dallas' very, very best players, and I don't care how many games he's played. Felix is the most explosive weapon on the team.

i really havent seen igor on film before, so i dont know if he is fatter or not, hopefully not; but i still would like some way marcus spears takes igor with him to train with randy white at his big mans school

I'll say this, too.

If you want to get fired, then don't give Felix Jones the football.

If Felix Jones is healthy, there will not be any debate about the number of carries he gets.
