DFW sports beat, talks Igor, & cliff harris talks too

brady covers topic of igor and terry holt wr possibly coming to dallas

then cliff harris talks about cowboys and his thoughts

i tried to find the podcast but its not on the website www.dfwsportsbeat.com

basically what brady said was, that he keeps hearing that holt will be released by march 17th, the rams may want to try to trade him, but no team wants to pay him the 8 million he is due, just like T O was due his big salary this year. That team will wait you out to release him. and get him for a cheaper price.

brady still thinks jerry jones will go after holt.

cliff harris said usual stuff about roy williams the safety, just cant cover etc, and now days when team spread you out you have to cover. Cliff talked about leaders on the cowboys team, and how the defense was set first before the offense. Cliff said something to the effect Romo must take the reigns of the team, and he would like to sit down and talk with romo. Also, cliff said he wants to know whom the leaders on the defense are, who are they, i think cliff harris was making a point, that the leaders on the defense must step up, and he thinks ware should be a good leader. etc.

Thanks for the info. I would love to get Holt, but I think 4-5 other teams are gonna go for him as well.

His comments on Wade are pretty accurate. If you are going to fill a roster with guys who 'beat to their own beat' then you better have a strong minded head coach in place or before long they will be running the show.

Maybe it's a great thing that Wade is bringing in his guys.
