The man who will be tasked this Sunday with defending the receiver many consider the best in football is Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr. Carr realizes the challenge he faces trying to lock down Calvin Johnson.
“It’s going to be a 60-minute battle,” Carr said.
And he’s looking forward to it. Then again, why shouldn’t he? Carr is playing at a high level right now. Of the 45 times he’s been targeted this season, Carr has conceded 20 catches for 282 yards and a touchdown. Last week, he helped limit Philadelphia receiver DeSean Jackson to three receptions for 21 yards.
