The Cowboys had the stronger overall roster but Washington had the better quarterback.

Because the quarterback position is the most important on the field. Having the best guard doesn’t equate the same as having the best qb.

I believe the question was supposed to be which team was better without consideration of the QB. The wording even after the clarification is still a little confusing though.

Facts...I'm Jersey Direct. It's not that we disagree...fair enough. It's the gaslighting, disingenuous arguments, playing victim all the time...it's weak. The Cowboys were one Aaron Rodgers pass away from the NFC championship game.

Washington got out of the wildcard round because Baker Mayfield fumbled a snap inside his own 20.

The final results doesn't change the fact that the Cowboys team was much stronger due to an elite running attack. They ended up 13-3 which included an 11 game winning streak.

The Commanders had a three game losing streak in November followed by a very easy schedule the rest of the way. They beat the Eagles when Hurts left before the end of the 1st quarter.

The Commanders had a great season, don't get me wrong. However, that 2016 Cowboys team was a little stronger. I doubt the Washington team could have beaten the 2016 Packer team but I would have liked the 2016 Cowboys chances against the 2024 Eagles.
