Would it have mattered? Most players of this era dont care about history. Particularly most players on this team. Owens takes shots at a legend in Emmitt cause he cant take criticsm and Romo made fun of the older generation saying they needed leadership and saying something along the lines of that has no affect these days.

we didn't lose because of lack of motivation. we lost because some of our players clearly suck. leadership/motivation is way overrated. you need to be able to motivate yourself or get out.

lack of tackling ability causes poor tackles. if the players need to be motivated to win a game then they need to get out period.

Yes, they tackled horribly against the Giants, didn't they? And most of the last several weeks.

But training camp popped up for this one game.
