Did anybody else see that pout T.O. did walking off the field?

I think when you use the words Seemed and Presumably in the same sentence, it's hard to make a determination about what he was thinking?

Maybe he was thinking, "Wow, I can't believe we won this thing. I loves me some Romo."

Or: "The Euro's rise is to blame for a worldwide accellerated demand for oil and interfusion technology, fueling pessimism among lenders and further depressing the Pacific rim strategy of steady development coupled with a gradual opening of markets."

Soon as the game ended, shots of players walking off the field.
Every Cowboy I saw was elated (glad). But then there was a shot of T.O. walking off the field. Clearly, he was not a happy camper. He seemed to be clearly pouting, presumably because of his relative inactivity during the game.
T.O. will look you right in the eye and tell you it's all about team victories, but beneath lurks a selfish (if gifted) player.
For the record: I've always been a fan of Cowboy T.O.'s skills.

Walking off the field... Did you see him on the sidelines when the victory was pretty much confirmed, but there were still a couple of seconds left? He was all smiles... but I'd be concerned if T.O. wasn't somewhat disappointed that he only caught 3 balls, being the absolute beast he is...

ESPN should be more concerned with the whining by Jon Kitna who was throwing a tantrum like a little baby the whole game....

uhhh.. T.O. isn't trying when he is running routes downfield at full speed into double and triple coverage to get these guys their openings?

what? there's a difference between changing your route on the fly in order to get yourself open and just plain QUITTING, as in going from a full sprint to a brisk jog with your head down and without putting your hand on anyone, on a play when you realize you're not getting the ball. It happened multiple times in detroit, mainly on plays when the ball went to barber and witten that i noticed.

Changing the route on the fly? They were giving Witten and Barber those plays the whole day, precisely because the calls were having T.O. go deep down the field. Also, T.O. was being used as a decoy for many of the plays. He is suppose to run his defender outside the play, so he has no need to engage them in blocking. Also, sometimes it isn't even relevant for you to block, because your so far out of the play. T.O. doesn't have to engage the CBs everytime when somebody else gets the ball. Watch other teams and inform me how receivers are blocking all the time when they don't get the ball.

They were pretty damn successful at moving the ball, were they not? Seriously, people are complaining about T.O. now?

And T.O. has never been known as a poor blocker. And T.O. grit and determination has never been questioned on and off the field.

Why not answer a simple question?

Do you, as a receiver, or do you not have to block your defender every time somebody else on your team has the ball? And that includes plays where the receiver and defender are clearly out of the play.

If TO blocks too soon it is offensive pass interference. Say TO waits until Witten catches the ball. Once the ball is in the air and assuming the DB sees the ball in the air and breaks off his coverage of TO, then TO may not be in position to get a good block. He may risk get penalized for a block in the back. On a lot of Witten's receptions he did not gain a lot of YAC, so I am not sure if there was time for TO to even engage the nearest defender. TO played a fine game on Sunday and well within the game plan and what Detroit was giving the offense.

do you HAVE to? of course not.. SHOULD YOU? most definitely

Why not answer a simple question?

no problem here, i'll answer all of them:

Changing the route on the fly?

uhh yeah, it's part of the game and has been since its inception

They were pretty damn successful at moving the ball, were they not?
i wouldn't say "damn successful" because that imo would indicate a higher score than 28 pts. They moved the ball when they needed to though

Seriously, people are complaining about T.O. now?
no, just me :nana:

WOW, how amazing some of you computer geeks are.

From a simple, random 2-3 second video clip: 1) you know immediately, exactly what a guy is thinking about, 2) you know what he is thinking about it, and 3) you know what his reaction is after thinking about it.

You know his thoughts, feelings and reactions from a short video clip with no sound!!

I wish I could do that !

Next you will know from a snapshot. :lmao:

The thing is, you don't know.
For all you know as he walked off the field he may have been wondering if he left his car keys in his car or his locker back in Dallas.

iffin you don't like it, move on without leaving your droppings here.

btw: loved the way you placed quote marks around winner. You somehow don't feel that readers will "get it" (your venom) and feel that quote marks will get your um, view, across.
So predictable, you little ball of hate.

You try so hard to be like Leotisbrown ..... yet you just end up looking foolish.

Oh well .....

I'm sure Owen wanted the ball but Owens himself understood what was going on and why Romo was going to Witten. In his post game conference he had nothing negative to say. All this sulking talk appears to be more about people reading into things that don't exists. What is the deal not enough drama in the season for you guys?

3 catches for 21 yards. Not a T.O. highlight day.

Yeah, the Lions defense did a job on him but it opened lanes for Witten.

But I think we may hear more from T.O. regarding a game plan did didn't highlight him.

Anyone?

Somebody always has to make something out of nothing.... Leave the guy alone... The Boys are 12-1...leave it at that

At this moment you could be washing your last tray of dishes at the Clover Grill, yet you keep sneaking away from your job to type in venom.
You creep me out, stalker. :)

I love how you have called multiple people on this thread stalkers.

The fact is that you are not entertaining enough to be worth stalking.

Now go practice that Leotis accent again ..... seems like you could at least get your own gimmick.

Dear Little Ball of Hate: You are still a stalker. Still a hatah. Still without a drop of talent or skill. Or imagination. Give up and go back to your casita and prank call those women who won't have anything to do with you.

You repeat the same thing over and over again ....

Do you not understand that nobody thinks your funny? That you ripping off Leotis's gimmick is just sad? Next you will be talking in 3rd person.

:laugh2:

Seriously ...... its embarrassing.
