look like the eagles are still in a drunken stuppor after winning their superbowl 3 weeks ago.

The wind didn't blow when Jacksonville was on offense?

That's a cool trick. We should try that one.

Well the Jaguars never really tested it, they wouldn't let Garrard throw the ball.

In other words they had a better game plan for dealing with the wind.

Good move.

Jaws is a moron. I mean all these talking heads on espn are hard to take... They all try to use their voice to one-up the other guy it seems.

and it didn't win the game for J-ville.

Correct... Glad you are catching on here. Thats why I said that Jax had a running game and Philly didn't. Thats why Jax won and Philly lost.

Probably a combination of a fear of Garrard throwing it and good game plan. I watched it and it didn't seem the Eagles were hurt by the wind, they just sucked the entire game. Would have been a bigger score but the Jaguars had a long TD run by Taylor called back due to holding.

It's unbelievable now... I used to watch all the pregame shows to know whats going around the league...Now I find myself watching to find out who the biggest homer is and what they will say to make their sorry team look good. :laugh2:

On MNC he blames the iggles loss on the wind effecting their passing game.

What a homer!:lmao:

Hasn't anybody warned Andy Reid about the pre game buffet? The food must have given him terrible winds. You would have thought the stands would have cleared as a result, but the Philly fans can't distinguish Andy's gas from the overall stinch of their city.

guess what...

I live 10 minutes from Philthy.

It was WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINDY yesterday around here... BIG TIME.

Like 50-60 mph gusts windy....

Now i'm not saying that's why the beagles suck, :) i'm just saying that it was really REALLY windy.

ps - and also notice that J-ville's "passing" game did NOT go off either... SAME goes for Eli and the NY Giants... (or Tampan Bay for that matter)
That's what the Eagles get for not having a running game.
Andy Reid's disregard for a running game came back to bite them in the a**.

I prefer to think of the wind gusts and a sign of karma for the Eagles....bad karma.:lmao:

It doesn't matter. Teams have to play past weather conditions. If a team totally relies on the passing game and can't pass because it's either too windy or snowy, who's fault is that?

I have no doubt the elements played a factor, as they probably will more often as it gets closer to winter in the Northeast. Which is why Andy Reid's flippant disregard for a power running game since Deuce Staley left all the more baffling.

LOL, I watched that game and the wind didn't seem like it was a factor. They kept showing the flags on the goal posts and they weren't really moving.

The annoucers were saying the structure of the stadium must be blocking alot of the wind because it was windy outside of the stadium.

That's what happens when your offense is one dimensional. A little wind comes along, and suddenly you're out of dimensions :)

I watched the Giants game (which was only a little bit more entertaining then watching paint dry) which also had 35-40 MPH winds. I noticed though that the flags on the uprights weren't really moving too much in that game either but both offenses were ineffective for most of the game. You could see passes being effected in the air, so it was having some effect.
