Here's a play by play: Garrett calls a timeout and as Romo comes over to the sideline, Garrett moves his headset off to the side and you can clearly see he barks something at Romo. Then Romo proceeds to turn and say something to the special teams coach, almost as if he's not really caring what Garrett has to say and then Garrett gets real animated and his head starts a bobbing motion like some would do naturally out of anger or frustration when emphasizing a point while you're really chewing somebody out and then he proceeds to bark something else to Romo with a lot more fire and authority. It was awesome!!

Then you see Romo's expression change and he acknowledges what appears to be a reprimand and he runs back to the huddle. No more audibles for pretty much the rest of the game.. I believe the timeout was called right before Murray runs in for 6 where he dives for the pile on.. I'm amazed nobody in the media is even bringing this up but why would they when we blew out the Rams?

If anybody still has the game recorded and has video skills, this one scene is Youtube worthy..

Didn't catch that during the game, definitely would be interested in seeing a video about it to see what it was about. Nothing wrong with a HC or QB getting frustrated with each other, it's a very emotional game and sometimes you'll see a clash between the two. Heck, look at one of the best QBs in the league, Rodgers and McCarthy had a heated exchange during the Bengals game, it happens.

I think that's why there hasn't been much news on it, because it's fairly common.

I missed it entirely.
Very interesting.
For what reason would Romo go talk to the Special Teams coach, anyways?

I think you probably got that backwards. JG was probably pissed off that we were running too much. He was probably telling Romo "What the heck are you doing? Don't you know you are supposed to pass when we are on the opponent's 5 yard line? How dare you calling a run play?"

JG probably got pissed Murray got more than 10 carries.

I just re-watched this sequence. This interpretation is so wrong. First of all, I think that's Wade Wilson that Romo talks to, not the special teams coach. Second, Garrett does yell something at Romo at first, but he doesn't look pissed. More fire'em up. And then it's not like Romo ignores Garrett, he is listening to Wilson, too, and they are standing in a circle. Then, Garrett says something that looks like he's reinforcing Wilson and/or firing up Romo. That "head bobbing that looks like someone angry" doesn't look angry at all. If he was angry, Romo would have responded different.

Seems like there's an agenda here, maybe, not sure what it is... But the OP's interp is not what happened

Not to mention, the timeout occurred before we got to the line of scrimmage. So any Romo audible theory is out. And Garrett claps at the end of this "angry scream", in a positive way -- not pissed at all

I saw that and could read their lips perfectly. Garrett yelled "Hey Romo Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair." Romo then turned to Bisaccia and asked "Fuzzy Wuzzy really wasn't fuzzy was he?" Bisaccia replied "No." Romo returned to the huddle with new information.

Few things with Captain Homers video: it's slower, it's breaking up, and most importantly it's a different angle. The angle that was aired showed Garrett straight up, not from the side...
