Did Anybody See T.O. Going Off On ESPN?

Did anybody see Owens yelling at Albert Breer last night? ESPN has been showing this all day.

Owens was being asked about his contract situation and Owens said he is fine with his contract right now. Breer continues to ask him about his contract after Breer was saying how Barber and Newman cashed in.

T.O. then goes off!!!! Owens yelled out that Breer has to stop asking the same question 1,000 different ways looking for a different answer. It was pretty funny.

Did anybody see this intereview?

You might have seen T.O. snap at a reporter on SportsCenter last night or this morning. That was my man Albert "Einstein" Breer who T.O. told not to rephrase a question 1,000 different ways and expect to get a different answer.

Einstein can be a pesky little pain in the butt, but he was actually trying to lob T.O. a softball. He tried to ask whether Drew Rosenhaus' good relationship with the Cowboys -- Marion Barber's big deal is the latest evidence of that -- puts T.O.'s mind at ease entering the final year of his contract.

T.O. interrupted the question twice, saying he didn't want to talk about his contract. Einstein tried to get cute by rewording the question and got shot down, leading to the sound bite which SportsCenter led with more than 24 hours later for some strange reason.

While Einstein wasn't trying to stir anything up (he leaves that to me), I understand why T.O. doesn't want to talk about his contract. He's made it crystal clear that he wants to finish his career with the Cowboys, and he's determined not to let his contract status become a distraction. If he doesn't elaborate on the issue publicly, there's no way his comments can create a distraction.

T.O. trusts that Jerry will give him a fair deal. And, as superstar columnist Jean-Jacques Taylor pointed out, there's no reason to think that won't happen.

But you better believe we'll find 1,000 different ways to write about T.O.'s contract status on this here blog.

I'm sure you will, Tim. You and the rest of your cohorts want to stir up every bit of crap you can to the detriment of the team. Keeping them distracted seems to be the goal in the life of you hacks.

I have to admit though that I like the play by play accounts you give at training camp. But beyond that.........

Sounds like a fish story. Your telling us it was a 25lb. fish, when actually it only weighed a pound.

I like Breer and all, but bravo to Owens. It's commonplace for reporters to pull that crap, but the Cowboys beat writers are the worst. It's almost like they figure that if they can't get the answer they are looking for, at least they can frustrate the person they are interviewing and can possibly get them frustrated and they could say "see, he was asked a question and he got all upset about it!"

TO is going to get paid, you all will see it,,,he is working on it right now thats why he isnt saying anything IMO ..i bet jerrah said now TO you cant talk about it to the media ....dont say a word...thats why TO is hush hush, if I had to predict I would say within 3 to 6 weeks TO's contract will be done,,,it will be big...7 years 50 mill if I had to guess...loaded with incentives to be made and money to be taken away if he screws up...he will probably get like 11 or 12 mill up front...and have 18 or so mill guaranteed...Jerrah always takes care of his people...and this will get TO another 3 years of very good football...after that I would say he will definitely decline a little...but IMO i think he will be a cowboy for at least 4 to 5 more years...
