Did anyone expect 14-2?

This is a tough one to swallow. The Dallas Cowboys didn't play well. Pretty strong defensive effort, but we need to find ways to get off the field on 3rd down. We are at the bottom of the league I believe. Offensively... just an abortion today. Too much pressure, and too many mistakes. Nothing else to say; good teams/ bad teams lose games when they make those mistakes.

With that being said, we are still in good position to make the tournament. Let's not worry about a big loss or a big win right now. Lets all just hope the injuries to Hamlin and Jenkins arent killers; bad luck about Colombo. But good teams overcome adversity. I know what our track record is when it comes to these things and I am aware that December is a short few weeks away. But lets stop worrying about home field and all that junk. I am Cowboy fan and can be pessimistic with the best of them; lets focus on the Deadskins and get to 7-3 this week! We all know that November football is meaningless and hopefully we can be playing good football by the end of December. This happens we will be in the tourney and praying to the gods of football we can end this miserable drought!

Nope. Also I was expecting Dallas to lose to Philly or GB on the road. They are still in first place and with winnable games the next two weeks.

I still think we might lose 2 more games, to NOLA, and drop another one to an NFCE (hopefully NOT the Giants).

So, 11-5 is doable.

No, but I also didnt expect to get dominated by a bad football team either

No loss is ever acceptable, though, and that's what fuels these knee-jerk reactions on boards like this.

Lose to a bad team and it's "OMG, we have no heart!!" Lose to a good team and it's, "OMG, we can only beat bad teams!!" Lose a close one, and it's "OMG, we can't finish!" Get blown out, and you have what we see today.

You say the complaint is that the Cowboys got dominated. Would you be any less peeved had they lost by one?

Goodness....the Packers are not a bad football team. They have playmakers all around on both offense and defense...

Rodgers, Jennings, Driver, Grant
Woodson, Harris, Raji, Hawk, even Bigby is a solid safety.

They have talent..

It's the NFL, everyone has talent

GB was missing 4 starters, has the worst O-Line in football, a coach almost as inept as ours, and hadnt beaten a good team all year. To top it off, they were just coming off a loss to Tampa Bay, the worst team in football.

Not quite as certain now.
We can still get to 11-5. That's going 5-2 in the last 7 games. That's not impossible.

And we had 4 sacks against them. Which is pretty much what their O-Line is giving up per game..

Their run blocking is actually pretty darn good, its their pass blocking that is horrible.

Eagles lost to the Raiders, does that make them crappy team? No. BTW, Bucs almost won again today but lost in the last seconds..not the worst team in football.

GB circled the wagons over the last week and were playing for their season. Not making any excuses but today was no doubt the best 4 quarters they played all year.

Dude the Packers arn't a bad football team. They were in desperation mode. A loss would finish their season.

It's very possible.

I think most of the folks on here could see us beating Washington twice and the raiders once. However, we still need 2 more wins on top of that, and the eagles, saints, chargers and giants will all be tough opponents.

I think 10-6 and a wildcard is where we'll end up, but I hope I'm wrong.

Nobody would have thought that.....it stings today, but if we roll off the next two it won't mean a thing.

We do need to stay focused and Jason needs to realize we do have 3 running backs.

This game was a total cluster, you know what, all the way around.

Anybody can lose, and GB is actually pretty good. We just need to play "our" game and not let the other team dictate what we do. Unfortunatly we have a tendancy to allow that to happen!

No way, I think we win the division. Philly will be the wildcard...maybe. Giants watching at home.
