Did anyone hear the Julius Jones interview last night on Sirius NFL network?

even Jerry looks a little scared in that pic!

I have always thought that mask had to be made from a mold of Tom Arnold's face.

No, I was saying Keyshawn is going to be there for you on Sundays. I am also saying that I would not have had a problem with Keyshawn still being here and Owens not being here.

And of course Terrell Owens is a better player than Terrell Owens, but Keyshawn doesnt bring anywhere near the distractions that Owens brings and Keyshawn was productive in his own right while he was here.

Mike G.,

It has been awhile since I have spoken with you thru posts.
How have you been?

So you agree that T.O. is better than Key? There was a time when Key's baggage was just as much as Owens, but as time goes on scenery change, things change or someone else new steps up and then they take the place of the reigning champion (as the saying would go).

Key caused so much stuff in New Jersey/New York with the Jets, Parcells got there and they clicked, respect and tough love fixed Key for while Parcells coached the Jets, but when He left Key was back at it and was traded to Tampa, he kicked up there for a little while but Sapp and crew shut him down, they won the SB, he got a ring and then his arrogance came back, I cannot remember if Sapp was gone when that happened, but Derrick Brooks and Gruden was not going for that act and they shut him down, and he was eventually reunited here with Parcells, whom he come to love, but he still had his sideline tirades with BP, Vinny, other coaches and Bledsoe, but he did come to play on Sundays.

Owens on the other hand, his start was in 98, but at first the media was behind Owens, because his team was losing and he not being use to losing, and did not tolerate mediocrity from his teammates, so he went off on them for just showing up and getting there paychecks and not really earning it, that was ran on espn over and over again, they thought it was a good thing.

Owens will always tell the truth, and once the media learned that they kept going to him because he would not be "Poilitically correct" he would tell the truth, if he felt that someone was not playing up to there best or coaching up to there best he would say so, (That is what I respect most about Owens, more than his ability on the field).

His star incident was taken overboard, so what if he stood on the star our team at the time deserved that we were horrible, and was getting drubbed, if we had played better coached better that would not have happened. So for anyone who holds or have ever held that against Owens they really need to grow up (I'm not saying you are one of them, but if you are let it go, it was never anything to get riled about, I'm not getting on you just stating my opinion).

When a team feels that someone has disrespected their field, go out and kick their butts and that will take of the disrespect.

Anyway Owens did not tear up the 9ers team, they were already ripped apart by the slary cap/bad management, he was just tired of losing and wanted them to help him win again. Remember Rice was his mentor, he got a lot of his ways from Rice. Rice has had his time with the media as well, it was a short time, and Rice was a primodonna as well.

Owens did not ripped the Eagles apart they were already ripped with the injuries, especially to McFabb, plus T.O. exposed how classeless the eagles organization is, they do not want to pay.

T.O. is one of the top 2 receivers in the league, Number 1 in my mind, and on payday with the eagles his paycheck was not even in the top 20, receivers that do not even produce close to what he does was getting more than he was on payday. Yes, the eagles gave him that 48 mil, but his weekly paycheck was less than lesser receivers, Espn ran that story back in training camp of 05 when T.O. first started talking redoing his contract.

Now this is how espn is and the media, they will not go back and rerun that story, or the story when Owens was still in cisco, because they want to keep the negative image out their. The media will not run stories on the positive stuff Owens does in the communities he has been in since he started his NFL career, because they want to keep the negative stories going.

Negativity sells and that is what the media likes to do, even about Iraq.
T.O. had went to high schools talking to kids about child abuse, the week they say he tried to commit suicide, but that was never reported, I hear all the time on the radio about the other Cowboys doing this or that in the community but not T.O.'s contribution, other than the football camp he did back in the summer.

T.O. has a fund that he started while in Cisco I read about that when he was with the eagles, and the things he did and is still doing in Philly and Cisco, so I cannot imagine that he is not doing those same type of things in Dallas.

T.O. is a great player and teammate, and person as well, ove him or hate him but on Game day he is with you all day long and then some.

I doubt very highly that Julius said this, even if it were true.

It's just REALLY out of character for Julius to be the one creating any bit of controversy.

exactly

What's up man?

Are back in the states?

I heard the interview. JJ never threw keyshawn under the bus, personally i never heard keyshawn's name come up in the conversation. Adam Schein on the other hand tried to stir things up with T.O again. JJ said T.O was a great teammate. He said T.O was just frustrated because he's passionate about winning. He stated that because its T.O its blown out of porportion. Good interview.
