Did anyone in the front 7 play well?

McClain had three good penetrations to stop running plays. Mayowa had a sack and a pressure early. Maliek Collins had a pressure in the second half. Cedric Thornton had a couple of good stuffs of running plays.

Other than that, the DL was pretty poor. The linebackers were even less effective. Not one of them were good against the run, and both Hitchens and Durant made mistakes on touchdown plays (Hitchens took a bad angle on Larry Donnell's TD that made the score 7-6, and Durant gave up the inside when Carr had the outside technique on Victor Cruz' TD). Not a good game at all.

I liked what I saw from Mayowa in the pass game...turned the corner a few times and got the sack. mcClain as was mentioned.

Other than that though, pretty sad state of affairs. I thought Tyrone was terrible and didn't see anything from our strong side ends.

This defense could be another all time bad defense. Hopefully marinelli can work some magic

McClain and Thornton were good at 1T, Sean Lee was Sean Lee.

I need to watch the tape to focus more on Mayowa, I have to think he will be good if the RDE rotation includes Gregory and Tapper. That's highly doubtful though, even if its just Mayowa and Tapper with some snaps from Irving at the position I think the position will be mediocre - to - average.

Brown was on Cruz on that TD pass not Carr

Sean lee wasn't Sean lee. He was late multiple times and out of position a few other times. Not what he usually does, always around the ball

As a whole the front 7 was pretty bad, once again we can't get near Eli Manning, and we made Jennings and Vareen look like JIm Brown and Emmitt Smith today.
