Did anyone see D. Ware Sunday?

Wish him the best when he got hurt I was hoping it was nothing serious, funny how people here already talking smack of a player that was a great one for us.

There are certain players who receive little to no hatred from Dallas fas after their career with Dallas was over and I was quite certain that would be the case with Ware. I was wrong, and I guess it shouldn't be took shocking. Perhaps if he had just retired he would have been given that treatment, but it's pretty sad how people can turn on a guy so quick.

There were some people who turned on him while he was still a Cowboy. I think he was one of the best and classiest players to ever wear the star. He represented the Cowboys well.

Couldn't agree more. Ware will always be one of my most beloved Cowboys. Model teammate, model human being, and in his hay day simply was the best pass rusher in football. He was double teamed every game and still had a profound impact on the game. Yes he often disappeared in crunch time, but to me that was due to being overworked and not having anyone else to take pressure off him. Seemed like we could never get a secondary consistent pass rusher to take some of the load off DeMarcus. Actually planning on wearing his jersey this coming Sunday.

Talked to a Bronco fan today at dinner. He saw my Cowboy gear and struck up a conversation. After the usual Dez questions I asked him about Ware. He halfway smiled and said he looked good this on Sunday. When I asked about the hesitation and funny look he said "Hopefully he can play like that the whole season." I simply replied "You know that isn't going to happen, right?" He just shook his head and said he was hoping for the best.

I wouldn't say it was turning on Ware but his last year or so hear he teased with good opening 8-10 weeks and then would get dinged up and he would be barely above Jeremy Mincey good. He was classy guy and nice guy and i think many here want a "ruthless" guy coming off the edge. One thing about Ware either he got there or he didn't he didn't seem to make too many hit the QB anyway plays when he was almost there.

another uninformed one. Guess its a shock to you that more than half of Dewares sacks came in the second half of games and a full third of them in the 4th quarter?

Quit with your facts.

Ain't no one got time for that.

he got dinged and tired because our idiot GM and DC would not get someone to take the load off of him and then played him 60 plays a game and wondered why he wore down at the end of the year.

Exactly. This is what he did last year. Then around November, he becomes the ever so common Demarcus Where?

It will happen again.

Never heard of a common playing HOF bound player. Ware is a first ballot shoe in. He will go down as one of the best 3-4 pass rushing OLB in the NFL, maybe 2nd only to LT. His numbers will certainly be better.

What does this have to do with anything? He is the most overrated Cowboy to ever wear the Star. So much empty stats. Never made any type of real impact on this defense and wasn't a leader.

Good riddance when he left.

For many years he was practically the only great player we had on defense. He couldn't do it all by himself.
