But it's just the epitome of fan logic.

When there is a chance to take the cake on stupid, you not only jump at the chance but at the cake as well.

Defend your point of view. My view is if they beat the Giants, they gain confidence, they stave off the December collapse talk, they take a bigger lead in the NFCE and now they dont get any of those, they have the Chargers staring down on them. If they lose to the Chargers they only go down hill.

WHats your point of view.

I almost don't blame you for being that way, The Cowboys find ways to break their fans' hearts.

Until they prove me wrong for sure, I still think this year's team is very different from the previous years. It was a tough loss but I was over it in minutes and knew they would bounce back. Barring a a few busted coverages on Smith, a missed tackle on Bradshaw, and not to mention a no call on Sensabaugh being held along with a block in the back on the KO return that game wasn't much of a contest.

The real winners of that game= Good ol' home cooking + The Cowboys putting the gun to the foot.

i agree with your assessment, but you figure a few plays goes the Cowboys win and its a blowout of a game

Pretty much, momentum is a big part in football. So if the refs decided to call a fair game we may have witnessed a blowout. Eli struggled all game and Jacobs was not going to win it for them, so chalk that win up to the stripes.

It's over with now so how about us Cowboy fans stop thinking negatively for once and use our collective will power to crush San Diego:)

I think your right, in each head coaches times he comes to a point that is either game breaking for the good or bad, that decides a head coaches future.

Its like a fork in the road, when that time comes, the head coach must step up and do the right thing.

Was it the eye of the tiger?

Hey: I'm glad you get that feeling, I really am. I also hope like hell you're right: just don't get any feeling AT ALL that you will be. They crapped the bed AGAIN in another big game: put up or shut up time and I'm glad because they've all had enough time to figure it out: especially the coaching staff and the mercurial defense.

That we lost one game, we have four more to go, and all you're blabbing about is a hypothetical scenario you've conjured in your head?

Who said im wrong, divisional games are very important, i would have rather beat the giants and lost to the Chargers, now theres a good chance we start december 0-2. Once that happens the media will be all over this team and everything goes down hill.

And if you cant comprehend that, well this is a discussion for the big people.

I think we are all whistling past the gravy yard.

The only "run" i saw in the Cowboys was a run to the showers.
Aside from a hissy fit by Folk and post-game smack from Brooking, the Boys didn't do nuthin.
Git the running game started and soon is all I kin say.
