D-Mac getting caught from behind?

where's his breakaway speed at, lol
IMO, Peterson woulda been long gone.

(Not sure if it's already been posted...)

you mean he was tired after running 160+ yards yesterday? lol

remember that post comparing D-Mac's numbers versus Felix's numbers?

yesterday kinda made that thread quiet, didn't it?

Deion had a great comment about that on NFL network. He said Mcfadden ran a 4.28 at the combine and got caught from behind. What did the safety run, a 4.1.....i was dying.

He wasn't quite so tired of the running at that point. he simply got caught from behind and if the guy really has legit 4.2 speed that shouldn't happen.

That being said he still looked darn good yesterday.

Thats why I always say to make them run in pads at the combines. Players lose speed with the extra weight while others stay the same speed. If DMac runs a 4.28 but runs a 4.5 in pads, and that saftey runs 4.5 without pads and 4.5 with pads, then were looking at an even race.

DMAC was probably out of gas. He had alot of long runs that day.

Mcfadden is known to get caught from behind. He is not even close to being as fast or shifty as Peterson.

I've been saying that since I saw him in the Pre Season.

He doesn't hit the hole hard enough and he reminds me alot of Julius when he played for us.

I saw that, kinda surprised me too...But, in retrospect, they ran the hell out of him and he had fumbled...Could've been more worried about his fumbling rather than running fast, who knows...Plus, he was probably a little gassed...Doesn't fly by the secondary like Chris Johnson, does he? ;)

BTW, that tandem of Bush and McFadden is pretty impressive...Despite Bush's fumble in the game, the guy made some really terrific runs...Why on earth do they need 2 backs like that??

I can't stand sensationalistic titles. Please do not do this...

Did you see.......

How about

Did you see McFadden get caught from behind?

Much better title, don't trick me to click on your thread. Oh and please post in the correct zone.

Neither one of them were the best backs in the draft. But we got the better of the two Ark backs IMO.

Felix hasn't played yet.

Besides, I'm not sure KC is a real defensive powerhouse. I mean look what JuJo did against the 49ers.

I'll wait before I declare McFadden anything more than a decent player. I think he is a mix of Reggie Bush but less agile and Brandon Jacobs but faster, but not as powerful.

Chicken legs!

Oh wait....

If McFadden sucks its for 1 reason and 1 reason only. He plays for Oakland.

With that said even the Raiders may not be able to hold him back.

Dumb. If Tony threw six TDs and one pick, would you start a thread focusing on the one pick?
