Why would you move him to guard?

He has had problems blocking in space. He looked better last night than he has in other games this year. Most scouting reports have him projected as more of a guard prospect.

I was impressed with Zach Hurd , the UCONN guard last night. He is 6`7`` and goes 325 lbs. He pulls very well and gets to the second level well. Big , strong, and can move.

nice I did not watch him - hell most of the time I don't catch the starting lineup an if there are senoirs etc

TOP BIG EAST NFL PROSPECTS: 9. Zach Hurd, OG, Connecticut, 6-7, 325, 5.16...Hurd's massive build and fair straight-line speed lead us to project the 2009 first-team all-conference selection as a solid mid-round draft pick. He's played in every game over his three-year career, starting for two of those years (2008 at right guard; 2009 on the left side). His strong run blocking has led the way for multiple backs to succeed in UConn's offense, but improving his balance against quicker tackles in pass protection as a senior would help his draft stock immensely. - Chad Reuter, NFLDraftScout.com

hmmmmm interesting

he ranked somewhere around a 7
