I would have traded down for more picks and then draft Justice at around 21.

if our o-line sucks again this year we might look back and regret it

Was a bit surprised because I kept hearing about how Dallas might trade up a few spots to get him if he was still on the board......I just keep remembering us getting abused by the skins at the end of the season....

He doesn't interest me much. Like Winicki said, he's soft. He has questionable character. Just everything about him makes me churn.

Yeah I'm satisfied w/ Carpenter also but just wanted to hear some opinions.....Lets just hope we can grab a nice safety and pick up an OL too w/ the next couple of picks.....Anyone like WR Moss from Miami if he hangs around?

No doubt about it...I wanted Justice. As another poster already stated, I think we could have traded down a little and still got him.

I don't know where some of you get that he's "soft"...I think that's nonsense. He certainly doesn't come off as one of those players who carries a "mean streak", but he definintely takes care of business on the field. Whomever should get him will have their RT for years to come.

That being said, I'm pleased with the Carpenter selection....a very solid pick.

Honestly, I wouldn't have minded Justice at 18. We need to solidify our O-line and as it stands right now, we are far from it.

Bledsoe needs to be on his feet to throw the ball....not his back.

Very true, but I was never too enamored with Justice in the first place, due to his off the field issues. Add to that the factor that our last USC OT was as soft as wet tissue paper and the things I was beginning to hear about him as being lazy and in poor conditioning are just some of the reasons I wanted nothing to do with him. Give me the traditional 2nd round OT pick , Marcus McNeil.

Taking Justice at 18 would not have instantly solidified our line. He is sliding for a reason. As I type this Indy is on the clock at 30 and he is still there.

It seems like the reasons may not have to do with his ability as much as off the field problems.
