12 catches for 158 yards (both career-highs) and 2 TDs says it all.
I said he'd turn it on after the bye week. Or the team would turn him on. The problem is, they want him to be good. Just not so good they can't pay their other players to retain him.

That's a problem. Yet people want us to trade for even more high paid players.

That's a very big problem. But I'm rooting for CeeDee to keep putting up monster games.

Easily better than any game Jefferson has had all year.
Easily better? Total hyperbole.

Jefferson opened the season with these 3:

9 catches, 150 yards
11 catches, 159 yards
7 catches, 149 yards

Easily better? Ha. But yes, he most certainly played like a #1 today.

12 catches, 2 TD, 158 yards in 50 minutes and no playing catch-up, and no fumbling it out of bounds like a moron against the Eagles.

But he was easily better than Jefferson in any game this year?

That’s just a homer take, sorry.

CeeDee is a number 1, period.
He is until he only has one catch for 17 yards in a game. Everyone will want him traded for a 5th round pick while we can still get something for him. :) I just finished watching the SF game and they lost again. That's 3 n a row. I can't believe that they would be missing an impact player like Samuel.

If you asked me. He played like an all-pro player today. He really balled out.
He did. I even mentioned that fact to my future son-in-law, that Lamb is "playing like a #1 receiver today". Amazing what he can do when he's targeted.

Richard Sherman, asante samuel and others doubt it
Because he isn’t a prototypical outside X wide receiver. What you can’t argue is production and when the offense isn’t trying to outsmart itself he produces big time. 100+ catches and 1300 yards are elite WR numbers and we saw him do that last year.

I think it’s a cowboy hater media angle more than anything. By their definition there’s only like 3/4 number 1 WR’s.

Did Ceedee Lamb play like a #1 WR today? Well lemme see, here . . .

Not only did CeeDee play like a #1 WR today, but I also feel like he played his best game ever with the Cowboys!
For all practical purposes, he was pretty much unstoppable. :flagwave:

He really looked good, his run after catch looked very fluid, no hesitation . He's becoming the go to guy, looks like he is hitting another level.
