Did Garrett try to run a halfback option with Choice?

Not sure if anyone has the video for this. But if someone has it and can post it, please do so.

Late in the third quarter, with about 3:00 minutes left, we took possession of the ball around our 40 after the eagles couldn't convert a fourth down. On the first play, Romo faked to the left, then pitched to TC to the right. TC slowed down a bit, almost running parallel to the LOS. However, a couple of a eagles defenders were right there and tackled him for a loss of 6.

To me, it looked like we were going to try a halfback option, but the eagles sniffed it out. TC seemed to be content with tucking it in and taking the loss.

Anyone at the game see a receiver running downfield on that play?

I know the play you are talking about. It looked like he was going to throw it. I just wish that if you are running that play, and you can't run or pass, just throw the ball out of bounds. It would save a couple of yards, and it wouldn't be intentional grounding.

It certainly looked like he wanted to throw.

I wish Garrett would just put all of the cute plays in the paper shredder from here on out, and run all over people out of the 3TE set.

Eh, some of those cute plays paid off big. PA pump fake right turn around and throw left, etc. Sure, some of them aren't going to work, but it just puts that many more things on tape the next defense has to study.

and get rid of the wildcrap

That was just a pitchout to the right side like the ones to the left with Felix. It just got busted up by their DE who lucked into the play.
