Did Jerry agree to stay off the field this season?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jerry Jones hasn't been on the sidelines since Wade became our head coach. I wonder if Wade got him to agree to stay away from the sidelines. Anyway, seeing Jerry and Michael Irvin celebrate the win was classic.

That's a great question. If there was ever a game where Jerry felt like he had to go down and boost the morale of the troops, this was it.

Could it have anything to do with the Bills stadium being older? Maybe he had to go through too much traffic and/or too close to Bills fans to get to the field? I know Mickey was saying that the stadium was so old, the media had to walk through the crowd after leaving the game.

If that's the case, I'm sure that he did so happily and in full agreement with Phillips' wishes. After all, it's still Jerry Jones, right? If he wants to do something, he does it and doesn't care what anyone else thinks about it.

You guys make great points. Jerry does what Jerry wants so he must be in full agreement (if that's the case). As far going through the fans, Jerry Jones was autographing jerseys and caps before the game. He was smiling and interacting with the Cowboys fans in the stadium. He is the best owner around. You just don't see that from other owners.

He probably just stayed up there because Irvin was in there with him.

If Wade talked him in to that he's done something Jimmy and Parcells couldn't.

I'm thinking he hasn't felt the need to be on the field.
