Then why has Ware been covering WR's the past few weeks? Why did we not throw a pass over 12 yrds against 3 "homeless" DB's all game?
Don't blame it ALL on the coordinators. We watched unadjusted coaching for the last 6 weeks. This tells me BP is just set in his old ways.
When your entire gameplan week after week is play conservatively-perfect, HOPE the other team makes mistakes, and maybe we'll win by a last minute FG, then your playing not to lose.
Remember the gutsy calls Jimmy would make at critical times in championship games, both were DOWNFIELD slant passes to Harper vs. SF & Green Bay. Both broke each game wide open.
We get handed a depleted secondary and our audible is a 1 yd pass. ***.
