Jerry clearly passed on Moss due to all of the problems going on at that time and yes Irvin was clearly one of the issues. Jerry went with the safe and clean pick, he knew all along that Moss would be a superstar.

Moss didn't get drafted because of his own huge red flags. Which is why numerous teams passed on him.

If one could agree Jerry would take Irvin every year, then saying Irvib scared him away from taking Miss would make no sense. If anything, Moss scared Jerry away from taking Moss. Ramsey Moss had, at that point, a historic amount of baggage.

I just find it ridiculous that the guy who took Gregory, signed Hardy and wanted Manziel (and that's just the last two years) would shy away from Moss due to Irvin. It doesn't make any sense or fit his character or extensive history.
