They were loaded at WR all around.
Switzer wasn't even the first UNC WR drafted.
Anyway, Trubisky showed well without Switzer too.

Mitchell WAS over drafted though. Not his fault, but it's just a fact.
He has a whole lot a David Carr in him though...just not as far along.

Did Trubisky make Switzer?

Obviously, they paired up well enough for both to get drafted. I like 'em both but we'll soon see how well they progress in the pros. I'm sure both will get their turns to prove themselves, with Switzer earning a starting job much quicker. That being said, I did like Trubisky the most among this year's QB candidates in the draft. I think it'll just take time for him to absorb the knowledge required of a starting QB.

I don't think so but the stats sure say it helped.

No Trubisky 2015
54 catches, 697 yards, in 14 games

With Trubisky 2016
96 catches, 1114 yards in 13 games

Wow, only 11.6 per catch. I think people around here might complain about him like they do Witten YPC....

Well I would of taken him with those 2015 stats so....

I think he fits Dak's offense perfectly

I agree, while I am not saying Dak is a dink and dunker or can't throw deep, he does like the safe plays rather than being a gunslinger.

Yeah you got quick little guys who know how to get open underneath quite often can move an offense down the field.

I won't, I expect his role in the offense to be a go to 1st down guy, 11.6 per catch just reinforces that for me.

It works really well when you don't shoot yourself in the foot with penalties. We had both last year at times (success and foot shooting)
