and if we win the next three games (all at home, against beatable opponents-- skins, jets and packers), and the Packers lose to the Lions in two weeks, we will have a 3 game lead over the Packers in the NFC with four games left.

On top of that, we'll be undefeated in the NFC and have mostly winnable games left on our schedule (only a road game against the Skins could be dangerous).

As long as we stay injury free, limit our turnovers and penalties, and the NFC is pretty much ours.

now we need to win playoffs - that is not given to us yet

Wouldn't that be a 2 game lead? The Packers are currently tied with us, right? Technically, it would be a 2/12 game lead.
