Did someone hack into ESPN's telecast last night?

Some time in the 2nd quarter, there was a small imprint of Tony Romo which usually gives a stat line ... instead is said, Aaaaaaag !

It was only on for about 2 seconds and disappeared. If anyone recorded the game, can you take a look?

Would be funny if ESPN got hacked.

I saw that. But I've seen ESPN mess up like this last year and this year. They really need to improve their graphics dept. I'm sure they didn't get hacked. Unless it was by Berman. :D

I dunno about ESPN, but NFL.com's gamecenter initially had it listed as a 73yd FG by Tony Romo :p

They didn't get hacked - you can't hack a TV telecast regardless of what Live Free, Die Hard tells you.

They likely were going to write up a graphic about Romo and the person operating the toaster (referred to as graphics sometimes) probably hit some keys as a placeholder for it and the director accidentally called for the wrong graphic or the operator inadverently turned it on.

Was pretty funny, though.

Yep, 3 or 4 times a year I see graphics during games that have 'Aaaaaaag' in them. It was all too fitting last night though.

Do they always have Aaaaaaag in them? I mean exactly "Aaaaaaag"?

If so, why would they always have that typed in there?

I figured it was a Commanders fan working in the graphics dept. :laugh2:

Maybe the technical crew died while writing it?

If he died while writing, he wouldn't have bothered to type "Aaaaaaaaag" into the box, now would he?

Perhaps he was dictating?

This was the first thing that popped into my mind. No, that's St. Iiiiiiiives.

Yep. It's been Aaaaaaag every time I've seen it. Sometimes the header is Aaaaaag in bold and the detail is Aaaaaag as well.

ESPN has gone way downhill.

Last night when Torico was telling about Bennett's rehab, I believe he called him Edwards twice.

Can anyone confirm that?

Without a doubt the worst television crew of all time. From their unbelievable bias towards the Bills to the fact they talked about just about everything BUT the game going on in front of them.I can't believe I miss the good old days of Theisman

Nah, they weren't hacked. That just tells you that the smart people at ESPN are Cowboys fans (the tech side of it) Only the dumb on air talent are anti-Cowboy. ;) :D

It probably should have read "the castle Aaaaaaag".

Thanks for the screenshot, nud!

Nud, great screenshot.

The Aaaag was kind of fitting considering Romo's performance up to that point.
