BJ goes to LV, he will be there 2 years tops. He will get more than 1 year because you can’t go thru coaches like people changing underwear’s.
They also played one of the weakest schedules in the league this year. And not sure how many times they won on the last drive , as time was expiring, or on a flukey play you rarely or never see too. I remember 4 or 5 of those type games - so luck was on his side often this year too. You are so right, once you find your QB it makes things much easier.
Trick plays caught up with Johnson, there was no need to try the Jameson Williams pass that resulted in a key interception. Not really but maybe a little more Johnson than Glenn because Johnson's offense did not have the excuse of multiple starter injuries that Glenn's defense did.
I think Johnson would not do as well here based on lack of personnel as compared to his stacked offense with the Lions.
Glenn might could do decently here with Parsons as his cornerstone but I am not sure if he would ultimately lower himself to be a yes man, Jerry Puppet Way of head coaching.
So he's probably not a genuine candidate.
That would be a huge mistake to me..........no QB in a division where all three other teams have elite coaches AND QBS. Jags or Cowboys ( if offered) would his best job.But he will head to Vegas
Exactly.......our defense isn't the same if we lose Parsons and Diggs/BlandI thought Glenn called a good game but he ran into a young QB who was deadly accurate with his throws and did not get rattled by pressure. The Lions defense could not keep up with the Commanders determination to win the game. They had just too many injuries. I believe the Lions was missing 3 of 4 starting DL, including their best pass rusher, and they were missing a lot of their secondary. It makes a difference. Can we every forget how the Eagles exploited Andrew Booth when they faced Dallas
Quinn is lucky for sure. But he is also took alot of Dallas rejects and turned them into productive and cheap players. Dante Fowler and Dorance Armstrong have 12 sacks between them.Quinn is a good coach that looks like a hero because they hit big on Daniels in the draft. Literally drafted a generational talent at the most important position on the team.
Meanwhile, we will pay Dak 60 million per while Daniels is on a cheap rookie deal. Prepare to be unhappy for several more years.
good pollThe poll is multiple votes. Select all that apply
Jared Goff always chokes in the playoffs, and their defense was nonexistent. Washington is good, but they’re not that good.Lions looked like they peaked early but I don’t want either of those coaches.
X 1,000,000I soured on Johnson, but I was never really high on him to begin with. But those trick plays he pulls out of his backside are not what I would want from a team with the best OL in football, and so much talent at the skill positions. And that is the thing. If that offense good because of Ben Johnson's scheme or play calling? Or because they have so many good players?
Agreed 100 %Trick plays caught up with Johnson, there was no need to try the Jameson Williams pass that resulted in a key interception.
On defense, no excuse for Glenn's players to fail with pocket containment on 4th & 2, and all coaches failing to call a timeout on Commander 4th & 2 play.
