Stafford had 2:30 to go down the field and score a TD. But he fumbles instead. Pretty sure Romo would be hearing it from the media if he did that.

Naturally Romo would have it from the media and everyone else had he fumbled with the game on the line because ill-timed turnovers/mistakes in big games are what he's been known for. Things are starting to change for him with his great December and the game winning TD to TWill with the game on the line yesterday. Romo's TD to turnover ratio was 2-0 which is the same TD to turnover ratio he had in his only other playoff win vs Philly in 09. While he played turnover free football Stafford's TD to turnover ratio was 1-3. Although Stafford threw for more yards than Romo and had a higher completion percentage his 3 turnovers helped do in the Lions.

The difference is no one cares about Detroit

Romo was pummeled. Didn't lose the ball ONCE.

Go watch film, Stafford. Take notes.

He fumbled but the Bease jumped on it. Romo came through in an adverse situation. Our pass rush wasn't the greatest, but when we got to Stafford, it really rattled him. Give the secondary credit because Stafford had nowhere to throw on those plays.

It's funny because in the first half it looked like we were doing everything possible to give the game away to the lions...in the second half the worm turned and it looked like they did everything they could to give the game away.

Former - totally agree. We were out of sorts in every way. Unforced in some cases. Some were the lions doing but most was on us.

Latter - totally disagree. We forced them into errors. Nothing was really unforced.

Streaming the web today...hearing all kinds of interesting comments.

But the one that really caught my attention the most was the one where people think Detroit got rattled after the big "NO Interference Flag debacle" and choked.

-The punters 10 yard shank afterwards.

-Detroit coaching staff choked not going for it on 4th and 1

-Stafford's 2 fumbles in the last 2 minutes

-Defense can't hold on 4th and 6

-Defense folds in final 2 minutes...gives up lead.

I guess having some time to digest it all......it sure looks like they did.

Comments?:)

- The punter choked.

- The Detroit coaching staff trusted the No. 2 defense to stop a Dallas offense that should have been pinned deep.

- The rest I prefer to chalk up to Dallas winning than Detroit choking ... it seems we would rather place blame than give credit.

Stafford's two fumbles were caused by two good pass rushes - Spencer crushed the ball into Stafford and Lawrence forced it out from behind.

Fourth-and-6 was an absolutely great adjustment by Witten and appropriated read by the most accurate QB in the league this year. In the end, it came down to Detroit having to stop this offense, and the Cowboys stepped up to keep that from happening.
