Did the refs make sure L.A. didn't have shot at winning title?

Two games in a row.

Seems they didn't want Clippers winning NBA title during all the hubbub!

No, the refs in the NBA just aren't good enough. They miss calls or make the wrong calls too often. Same with the NFL.

lol.

I knew this would be questioned when the Clippers eventually lost.

It seems no team in sports ever just gets beat anymore. It's always the league or someone trying to screw them out of something.

Don't believe in these kinds of conspiracy theories.

Human intervention, agenda, wants and don't wants.

Not saying it definitely happened but why do people just believe. Question everything. Agendas above board or below.

I question people when they come up with these types of conspiracy theories.

has more to do with them favoring OKC than it does about the Clippers. OKC is just incredibly babied by the officials.

I don't just believe. My intelligence tells me that this would not be economically feasible for the NBA to tell a ref to make sure a team loses. In this day and age, that would become public knowledge quickly.

The entire league is.

I don't get how anybody can watch the NBA. Is soccer with a bouncy ball.

Because any logical evaluation of the situation by even a 2nd grader would conclude such a thing is ridiculous.

If the league was caught fixing games, it would cease to exist (NOTE: I am saying if the league was caught fixing games - not individuals acting on their own). So why would you risk your entire existence? For what gain? Avoiding a little bad PR from the Clippers advancing? Heck, if anything the Clippers were becoming a top draw. All this controversy has translated into ratings points.

The Clippers winning the title would actually make the NBA a bigger story than it has been in quite a while, likely bigger than when Lebron signed with Miami. And yes Sterling would benefit from that, but it may actually get him to sell the team, because after this season, the value is going to drop like a ton of bricks. Doc isn't coming back, and I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA let some players out of their contracts. This team is about to become your daddy's Clippers again.

If you listen to Sterling he is not looking to sell team.

When it comes to PR and strategy it would be irresponsible for the nba to not try and leverage things in there favor. Taking the clippers out of playoff picture would be a start.

Again, not saying this was done but to think that it's impossible just shows how gullible some people are.

those 2nd graders know it's just as ridiculous to think the NFL cheats against it's most popular team but people still try to use that as an excuse for losing.
