Did anyone notice how after every time tiki touched the ball (which resulted in a big gain 90% of the time) our defensive guys would pat tiki on the head or hug him or joke around with him? It was making me sick...you just got torched don't be smiling and patting him on the back, get mad, tackle him. I know he is a nice guy but your there to play football and nock the crap out of him...be friends after the game...

I think the jump shot thing is in relation to the fact that all that Eli throws is jump balls.

That crap is annoying.. seemed like they did it after every play.

I think I saw that referee who tackled Roy on that first touchdown do the jumpshot thing too.

The first half we laid ALOT of hits on tiki, a few of them unneccessary (the Henry hit OB springs to mind.) In each case Tiki hopped back up and patted our guys on the helmets.

After being shook up, the guys went a little easier on the tackles on him, and stopped some of the more excessive hits in favor of some jawing, which is what that "hugging" was.

Our defense is full of a bunch of softies. Nice guys all. That's okay away from the field, but we need our guys to get nasty. We need guys who can hit and tackle and cover and rush and turn to see the ball and catch a darn interception without the dropsies. Did you see that fumble by Manning? They ruled it an incompletion, but our guys were slow to react and nobody jumped on what could've been a turnover. Just a bunch of nice guys out there sleepwalking.
