if your in going to be in the nfl and your only getting 8 reps you are a *****
im 18 i can bench 215 for 9 and i dont play sports/ work out everyday yeah thats not 225 but im not going to be a nfl player

felix jones is a joke

You need to put on 2 plates on each side and start working out with that. If you can do 215 (which is a 45, 35, and 5 on each side) for 9, you should be able to push up 225 for at least 5. Why waste your time putting on those extra weights, when you can just throw on 2 plates on each side. Just some advice....

I guess you've been too busy lifting those baby weights to read the whole thread.

He's a corner back. I couldn't care less how many reps he can do.

Deion was not exactly Larry Allen and he covered just fine.

right...and how does bench press equate to running skill?

it doesnt

wonder how many reps Tony Dorsett could manage?

You guys are pretty strong... If you go throw up 15+ reps of 225, you're a pretty decently stocked guy. I've seen guys lift weights for years and not be able to throw up 225 15 times.

I guess its all good then as long as they would never be asked to block.

I wouldn't mind getting this guy really.

I'm anxious to see how many reps he throws up at his pro day.

This kid is a very good return man, and could be the change of pace back we need. Some guy in a previous post we need an every down back....wth...lol...

Honestly I'll be pissed if Dallas selects this guy, he's not an every down back like is needed in Dallas.

I really don't think we need an every down back. Going with the two back system with Barber as the lead guy, we just need a change of pace back to take some carries away from Barber to rest him. If we wanted an every down back we should have looked elsewhere in free agency.

I disagree....

You don't draft "change of pace" backs in the first two rounds of the draft.

You draft guys that can be the "Man"......

I don't think Felix Jones or Chris Johnson fit.....I think they would make great "change of pace" guys....but as I said, I don't think you draft those guys in the first two rounds.

I didn't say that. I said we don't need an every down back. If we do then what the heck are we going to do with MB3?

I don't mind drafting a change of pace back or a capable #2 guy in the second or maybe the third round if one is there and worth it. And you never know, he could turn into something special. Who knows?

I don't think we need an everydown back, but neither did Minnesota when they drafted AD. Granted we won't have a shot at a talent like that, but if RB is a need and one is sitting there and he's the BPA take him
