Would have taken West. More NFL game experience then Michael and 1 more year on his contract.
The only thing with West is that he averaged less the 4 per carry behind a Cleveland line which is almost as good as ours. Granted he didnt have any semblance of a passing game, but he had excellent run blocking

CM is better than West. Game tape, roster competition, competitive attitude - CM wins all 3.

The Cowboys won't but I would add Ball too. I'd go with a trio of Michael, Ball and either McFadden or Randle.

West isn't more of known quantity than what we have already. I'll take talent and attitude everyday at the RB position.

Hes more of a known quantity then Randle is. McFadden has done nothing in the last 3 years to make me think he is a quality HB

If west is a known quantity he is a mediocre quantity. No thanks.
Plus you keep mentioning his 3.9 ypc as the red flag when his COACH said he issues were without the ball and his lack of commitment in practice. No thanks.

West isnt exactly untalented and has alot of upside. He didn alot better then alot of people thought as a rookie coming out of a small college
You must just not be a fan of West. Difference of opinion. Not saying your wrong, and in fact your probobly right because he obviously got traded for 4 rounds less then where he went a year ago. But I also belive thats stupid of Cleveland to do anyways

Between Michael and West, Michael has the higher ceiling. Not sure who's the better back at this very moment. Ball seems like the worst of the three by far.

At this point you have three RBs who were drafted fairly high that failed to live up to their respective draft status.
They all have their good/bad points so as of right now it's a roll of the dice and anybody's guess. Of the three West has a better chance to start right now. This would be a good question to revisit six games in.
