Did we score the fewest points in the league this week?

How is a game this early in the season....with 10 days off...a trap game? I mean did we make the playoffs last year? I think we had ONE more win than the Seahawks last year. You are not going to go 16-0. But 7 points? I mean did we score the fewest points in the NFL this week.

And for the "classy" fans. I ask you...was that a classless move by Tate? Or deep down are we upset that we have NO that would do that....and even worse, we have NO ONE that will retaliate

The game of football requires a certain level of violence...and because we don't have that in our culture....you get a team that can be bullied. And yesterday we got bullied. And we got hit in the mouth...and decided that is fight we don't want, so we mailed the 2nd half in.

And this is not just on players. The gameplan on defense was wrong from the beginning. We decided to let Wilson prove he could play. Well heck...if you let a mobile QB just sit back there all day...why would he panic? Because he knows anytime he wants to....he can take off and get 4 yards. His reads were SIMPLE. So waiting for him to panic was a STUPID game plan. They ran it...and then they went play action. Easiest read in football to make. Your keys are simple. If the defense makes a false step on the play fake...your guy is open. If that guy is not open..than you become a RB and make a play with your legs. It is pretty much what we did with Quincy Carter. Then once you get the defense on their heels...they start pressing, because they don't know if you are going to hand it off...keep it and throw...keep it and run. I mean simple college stuff. And we had 10 days to prepare for simple college stuff...and could not get it done.

As far as Felix is concerned.....what can I say that has not already been said. I have said for years that this guys strikes me as someone that is just happy to be in the NFL...and cannot believe he is a Dallas Cowboy. I don't think the embraces the mentality a 1st round RB should. And you know what? Why should he? He did not draft himself in the 1st round. And he was never a bell cow in college...so he is more than happy to just come in "help" where he can. And when you consider all the other RBs we passed up to draft him...we really blew this. If you watch Ray Rice...he has no problem being the identity on offense....he has no problem playing with a bulls eye on his back. In todays NFL....you cannot spend a 1st round pick on a RB that is a gadget guy. That is what the Broncos did when they drafted Tebow....and Elway ended that experiment as soon as he could.

On offense....not sure why the only time we make big plays on offense...it requires Romo to make the kinds of plays you should only have to make a couple of times a game. All of our big passing plays come off busted plays with Romo turning into David Copperfield. Too many of his throws have multiple Cowboy WRs in the SAME area. I mean, what the heck about our passing game does not allow us to get separation? Why does throw after throw seemingly have to be fit in tight spaces?

The culture in Dallas is not intense enough. And I was hoping Garrett would change that....but the core of this team....the players that have been here since 2005 (I think Witten was drafted in 2003, but him too)....they are who they are...and the leaders of the team set the tone for the team. And it simply not passionate and intense enough.

Lastly, my position has nothing to do with the fact we lost....it's how we lost. We all know we are not going 16-0...but this team has the talent to beat anyone...so when we lose, all of us would like to see us lose playing a certain way...and today we did not do that!

IDK, but I seem to recall Josh Brent retaliating about something in the 1st quarter and getting a 15 yard penalty for it. He was upset and fired up about whatever it was that happened.

You can retaliate by knocking the crap out of someone during a play. I mean it is legal to block right? There are plenty of legal ways to let someone know that you mean business. I mean we got laid out by a WR? Not Jerome Harrison. Not Ray Lewis. I have said it 100 times...Dallas is the most loved AND most hated team in the NFL. When you step on the field....the opposition cannot WAIT to embarrass us. I mean with 6 mins left in the game...Wilson called a play action pass play on first down and they were up 20....they were TRYING to score 40 if they could. Let me ask you something...would we do that? At any point we could have gone no huddle...change the snap count...ran some boot legs...just something different to jump start this team. We just sit their and took it. Romo got blitzed like HE was a rookie playing his 2nd NFL game. Comical.

My fear is the physical nature that Carr came to Dallas with...or the passion Sean Lee came to Dallas with.....the swagger that Dez came to Dallas with.....will all be washed away by this classy, media friendly, choir boy core that RUNS this lockeroom

There was a thread on here a day or so ago asking what the odds were that all teams would score more 10 points or more this week (as happened in week1). Who would have thought, we would be the team to bust that trend?

We should be right there with the chiefs for worst show up / performance of the week award lol

did not see that...but I am asking a serious question....because I have been to disgusted to watch espn or go to any of the websites laughing at us...again, did we score the fewest points in the league this week?

The Cowboys were far more pathetic.

As of right now, we are tied with Jacksonville for that honor.

Did Laurent Robinson share the Cowboys playbook with the Jag coaches!

I can't begin to describe how satisfying it was to see Romo and the offense in a hurry-up with 30 seconds left culminating with Felix tripping over the twenty yard line as time ran out.

Let's build on that. Look out, Tampa!

Felix tripping over his own feet when no one was even trying to tackle was sad.
