More so Chris Cooley-if he makes that catch near the goalline, 21-13 Skins, game pretty much over.

Wish we had a smiley for a rim shot.

That was good BTW.

Santana must have been exhausted from all of the dancing earlier on during the Trufant interception where he made ZERO effort for the ball or to tackle Trufant.

No disrespect for the dead, but I was sick and tired of all this "the Commanders are the hottest team in the NFL" and "the Commanders are taking Sean Taylor with them to every game" and all this "we want Dallas" crap!!

Man, that organization whines about everything except their own shortcomings...

I'm glad it's over for those losers, period!

Happy friggen New Year, Commanders!

21 out....!!

He said that? What a dumb ***. He's only been a Commander for one season and he has some wild hatred for Dallas?

Please. It's just self-motivating BS.

He should be embarassed to say he was thinking of Dallas when they're still playing Seattle.

I was so sick of hearing how they were the "hot" team. They beat Grossman/Orton, T. Jackson, Eli in 40 mph winds, and a Dallas team that had absolutely zero to play for... and they were the "hot" team?

Give me a break. It's like IQ's dropped sharply after the Taylor tragedy, and they couldn't see the Commanders luck and shortcomings.

Now we'll just have to hear all offseason how lucky we were that Seattle beat them and saved us from elimination.

:D That "We want Dallas" stuff shows whats wrong with that team. We're in their mind, not their opponents. I mean honestly, the only time Dallas fans usually think about the skins is the week we play them on, and then usually we forget about them. On this board it maybe a bit different, since we got Commander people who visit all the time. :D

They lost the game because Seattle is a better team.

The only reason that game was a game at all was because of 2 blown calls by the refs.

I've never been one to harp on refs... but dang - that was a HORRIBLE call on the fumble. ---And the Landry INT after the other DB took the WR out?
... those calls (or noncalls) changed the game.

You definitely have to give credit to the Hawks for not letting those bad calls shake 'em.

But I guess they have experience in getting jobbed by the refs in the PO's...
after that Pittsburgh Super Bowl debacle...:laugh1:

Well I got news for him and wilbon and the rest of the blind Commanders faithful.

Babe laufenberg was just breaking down the game film on the cowboys pregame show and he showed four blown coverages by the skins, three which should have been touchdowns.

the throw where crayton caught the ball where it was tipped up, well on the other side smoot totally blew the coverage and let his guy go, couldnt tell if it was austin or hurd but it was a walk in td, romo just threw it to crayton.

So all this nonsense about how they would have beat us and everyone knows is ********.

That guy and their players really are as clueless as their fanbase. It's comical.

And this Dallas obsession they have has been there since George Allen and Gibbs the first go around.

I heard stories back in the '80's that after each draft the veteran players would ask the rookies if they were Cowboys fans. How many Cowboys players care about whether new draftees were Commanders fans?

Dallas is so in their heads it's hilarious. And our meaningless game last week really had the Commanders thinking they were the best team in the conference. :laugh1:

I'm swimming upstream in this thread, but I'm one who's glad we don't play the Skins again next week. It would have been a great game all around, but I don't need to see a game with our biggest rival as an underdog in Texas stadium. I'm losing enough hair already. Either the Giants or the Bucs are easier outs, and I'm not sure (I suspect, but I'm not sure) we're going to be able to just turn it on and perform our best this next week after coasting into the playoffs.

Oh, and Fletcher's an idiot to flap his gums after a loss.

They lost because the referee's couldn't "hose", the Seattle defense the entire game!
