Dak has not sucked.
An 8:3 TD:int ratio is good. We all thought both the TDs and ints would go up some this year, but the ratio might go down some.
Even the 90 QB rating is not terrible. Not great, but not terrible.
The ypa is bad (25th in the league), so we're hoping that goes up.
The completion rate (28th in the league) is very low, so we want that higher too.
it will be. We're only 25% into the season.

He's also in the 20s in passer rating, completion percentage, yards per attempt. Football Outsiders had our passing O as 19th in the NFL before this weekend's games.

So he doesn't suck but he's also not playing great either.

Yep, Dak hasn't been perfect, but he is far from what is wrong with this team currently.

I value it all. I look at everything because sometimes stats can skew just how a player is playing. So while his QBR is high, when you look at the totality of statistical evidence and analysis, that high QBR should probably be viewed with a bit of a slanted eye at this point.

Qbr factors in more than qb rating.....qb rating doesn't factor in scrambling or what a qb does with his legs lol.

The refs are letting secondaries play more aggressive now it seems.

I know that. But I also know it's not the end all be all of stats. If you want to put a lot of faith in that and believe Dak Prescott really is playing like a Top 5 QB this year, have at it.

I don't know how much of other teams you watch or don't, but this season, he just might be playing like a top 5. Even with as much as he still needs to work on. QB play this season has largely not been good.

Second of all, I don't want you to believe that he's playing terribly. I never uttered such a thing. But it's not surprise that simple minded people like yourself tend to overreact when they see criticism of a player. Immediately, you have to jump to the conclusion that the person criticizing thinks said player is awful or terrible.

It's very simple. He's not been awful. But he's also not been very good. He's not the reason we are 2-2 all by himself but he along with a combination of things has led to a 2-2 record.
