Had to work. Would have taken it off if the Cowboys had a pick

Which was the better broadcast. ESPN or NFLN

Neither, The draft is turning into a 3 ring circus. The good old days of draft pick analysis is long gone. Now we get to see Taylor Swift driving around Nashville and promoting her album and present and future NFL players wearing clown outfits. Its so bad, Lee Corso rage quite in the middle of the draft. He just up and left without explanation.

Lol Mayock freaked out a couple years ago too

ESPN was pretty tame, Kiper was not himself, very quiet and I know some like that but seeing his head expand and get ready to blow with some of the picks is great to me.

Why don't they just roll out a red carpet for these guys and talk about their ensemble? Devin Bush was dressed like Jacqueline Onassis last night. I thought Elliott looked stupid with his bare midriff at his draft but some of these guys got dressed by blind people in dark closets.

I miss Berman doing the draft, Wingo is lame and doesn't control the panel like Berman did. The guy with the most insight was Booger McFarland, made some good observations and doesn't have pet cats in the draft except all of the fat guys.

I will not watch anything but an actual game on NFLN because I can't stand Irvin or Sanders so you'll need to get that perspective from someone else, probably a masochist.

Its kinda coming back to me that NFLN is a huge dog and pony show

Regardless of the Cowboys not having a first-round selection, it was boooooring. I dozed off around the 19 pick.

Greg, said the College Game Day crew has a show on ABC but I didn't catch that. Herbstreit is a little too much pet cat for me. But I will check that out to see if I can avoid the same commercials over and over because ESPN can't deliver a large enough audience without loading up the spots and running them into the ground.

Watch Dane Brugler, Dave Helman, and Broaddus on dallascowboys.com or on periscope

ABC put out a live YouTube show with their B-team and it was awesome. It was a legit ESPN group of commentators but they were all in T-shirts and slacks and were eating buffalo wings.

All they did was make fun of what everyone was wearing and laugh hysterically when someone made a terrible pick. It was really fun.

As several here have already pointed out, as a Cowboys fan you're much better off, better entertained and better informed if you skip the TV coverage and stick with the Ticket (which you can hear on iHeart Radio online), the coverage on The Fan (which you can hear on several mobile apps) AND the DallasCowboys.com coverage. Plus keeping your eyes here on CowboysZone, of course.

Sadly, IMHO, I don't think any of the TV coverage is taking the draft itself all that seriously, so they add in all kinds of extra "entertainment" to keep the widest possible number of viewers watching. Which detracts from the entire reason from watching the draft from gavel to gavel in the first place.

Oh, and you can do all of that at work, if you have a desk job!

No thx they probably talked about doing sexual things to roseman for about 30 minutes after he fleeced another scrub GM.

Mina Kimes had to be drunk

I watched that along with Mr Kiper et.al. Sound quality was intermittent...between clear as a bell and garbled...not much in-between.

Have very high speed Internet and new'ish Pixelbook so that should not have been the issue...but one never knows.

Go Cowboys!

It's better on periscope but periscope crashed last night. They apologized and said it should be there tonight. The website has always sucked
