Didn't realize how old Sean Lee was

This kid is already turning 25 this July. I hope we don't have another Newman on our hands (health wise)

Newman played 64 straight games until he got his first injury, thus becoming "injury prone" in the feeble minds of Cowboys sheeple, the likes of which P.T. Barnum built a fortune off of.

That is all.

Its not simply about missing games, but playing games in "hobbled" status as well.

If you want to assert that about Sean Lee, that's fine.

But it's inaccurate to say that about Newman because there is strong evidence to the contrary.

Newman "played hobbled" in 2008 against the Eagles, Packers, and Commanders. After that, when he came back in Week 11, he was fine.

In 2009, he was healthy again, like he was for the first four seasons of his career.

In 2010, he got injured again and played hobbled.

He's played healthy in more games than hobbled or missed. Next case.

As of late, Newman's been hobbled and has suffered from it.

There is no denying that.

Not sure why you are trying to make it sound like Newman being troubled by nagging injuries is a myth. He also was also nagged by an injury during the Vinny year. For those that follow the boys.

Newman was horrid his second season, because he was injured.

While it's admirable of him to suck it up and go out there - and necessary because we had no one else - the fact remains he's carried nagging injuries through much of his career that have only allowed him to play near his best for maybe half of his career. Contrast Newman with Ware, who has suffered maybe one or two consequential injuries in 6 seasons.

And Sean Lee suffered 6 different injuries between mini camp and the end of the season. But by all means, continue to delude yourself.

well if you bother to look a little harder, you will notice most professional football players will be 'hobbled' a fair amount of their career. Tony Romo actually has missed more games then TNew in fewer years. And he was certainly hobbled in 2008 for a fair amount.

There is no denying that.

And still has been our best CB. There's no denying that, either. So why complain about it?

Unbelievable. 4 of his 8 years? 60 of his 119 games?

Exactly what I was thinking. What team has "The Emperor" been watching?

Newman is only injured after getting beat like a drum.

It's always the same excuse, "he's playing injured!"

Oh, I'm sorry. I was only dying of cancer that year. "The Vinny year" -- you don't even know it was the 2004, but you know that you can make some condescending statement about my not following the Dallas Cowboys. Koos. Futete.

I guess you missed my statement about Sean Lee:

If you want to assert that about Sean Lee, that's fine.

But, by all means, continue to assume I'm equating Sean Lee's injury concerns with Newman's. I shifted the argument to Newman. Not at any time did I use Newman to let Sean Lee off the hook. All I was doing was saying Newman probably wasn't the example you are looking for.

Pedo Bear has lost interest.

You know what? Don't ever like a post of mine ever again wherein I defend Tony Romo from the blathering cazzos who would like him cut, replaced, or traded. I know you like those posts of mine enough to never question what team I've been following. Mudak.

Wow. In the future, I'll be sure not to say I like something you write (even if it makes sense) because your Newman comments are strange for a guy who has theoretically watched the Cowboys for years. OK? If I inadvertently agree with something, please ignore it.

BTW, I'm pretty sure name-calling/profanity on this board isn't ok just because it's in Russian. I'm also pretty sure, like most internet tough guys, you wouldn't call me that to my face. Settle down, man.

You're right. But I can't believe you act like I don't know what team I'm watching when you have enjoyed my posts defending Romo. That's the disconnect.

I mean, I don't really care what the other ones who have made similar remarks think. But I do care what you think because I thought we had an accord based upon our defenses of Tony Romo.
