Didn't we catch another injury break?

not to down play loosing Claiborne, but we did get Oscan back. That really not a huge drop off.
I'm more worried about loosing Church. I always liked how hard JJ plays but he ain't no Church. His leadership will be missed. Maybe Frazier will impress. Wasn't the scouting report on him was that he was physical like Church, with more speed?

I always thought Wilcox would've been a better fit in Church's role. Wilcox has always been more of a box player than a FS.

Only thing I'm hoping is we don't start using Jones as a CB more. The fact we haven't signed a CB kind of tells you that is the case though.

did you forget about Anthony Brown? With him and scandrick back I think that's more of why they didn't make a move, not necessarily that Jones will see more CB work. I'm not happy, but I think it's manageable.

The Cowboys signed a CB to the PS recently, it's the player's 4th team in as many years. Outside of moving Jones to CB, I think Oscan/Brown/Carr is all we've got at corner.

I think that lack of depth will hurt us. You have Carr, Scandrick and Brown out there........who's after those guys?

They're gonna have to sign another CB. I understand Byron's versatility but you don't want to travel with only 3 active CBs. That's asking for a disaster.

I've been a Heath hater in the past but, he's good for a couple of picks and has played much better, as he should, as a semi-vet. I look for him to get more time and do ok.

I think the impetus is going to be placed on Jeff Heath to play well. He's the one that is really stepping in here for an increased role.

it's essentially what they've been running with all year though with scandrick out.
Byron Jones' flexibility has been key here. He's an outstanding FS and very good in corner duties when called upon in my view. Heath will need to step up with his reps most assuredly about to increase.

I felt the same about JJ btw.

oh yeah for sure. I'm just saying that he hasn't had to play CB when we've had three healthy cb's so he shouldn't have to now.

only time he shifted back was when scandrick was out and mo went down. but with scandrick back Byron should be able to stay at FS outside of maybe a few designed packages.

Any injury is a big loss. Yes can say we have Scandrick, and all of that, but the depth gets hurt from there. Hopefully mo and Barry are only our 4 to 6 weeks like they said.

I will wait on JJ, as we haven't seen him as a full time SS and a true SS. He has been coming in, but now let's see him from a starting position. Frazier and Heath, I hope they can be who they think they are.

Let's just get through the next 4 games at least. At the latest they should be back for the Giants game. But knowing this team, it will be 7 weeks or so. So figure the TB or Detroit games.

We made our own 'break' in that one as Anthony Brown has looked like a great pick thus far. I expect O-Scan will play the slot while Brown will play Claiborne's spot. I'm more worried about Wilcox replacing Church, but Wilcox has improved by leaps and bounds this year.

Jeff Heath. He's actually played a little corner this year for Dallas. He can also play deep in a pinch if they want to pull Byron Jones up.

Heath and Wilcox are essentially the same player and both do well with limited roles coming off the bench. I really like how they are being used this year and do not want that to change.

As for replacing Mo, I like the idea of Brown on the outside because he is a little bigger than Scandrick. Being a rookie though there will be situations where it is better for Orlando to be on the outside.
