I am a die hard Cowboy fan visiting Dallas for the first time. I am staying downtown and needed some suggestions on getting to the new stadium instead of paying $135 roundtrip for a cab. I can't go back home without a tour and photos, my brothers would disown me.

PLEASE HELP ME.

This is what I did for the Carolina game to save $ on Cabs. First get a DART map of the bus/train schedules. Take a DART bus to the UNION STATION and from there take the TRE line train to the DFW/Centreport stop. Call a cab and have then pick you up from there and then drive you to the stadium. This will end up saving you allot on cab fare. Hope this helps.

No problem man. The Carolina game was my first as well; your going to have a great time. FYI: you can drink in the cab (I asked) and outside of the stadium, so bring some of your own (if you’re a drinker) before you start spending $8 a beer.

We're flying in for the Skins game, too. Looking at staying at the Belmont, which has a $10.00 game-day shuttle. Somebody tell me if the Belmont's a good idea or not, ok?

Belmont hotels aren't high end, but the ones I've seen look ok to me.

As for transportation from downtown, I'd consider renting a car. Getting around DFW is not for the faint of heart.

Thanks. It looked retro-modern in the pics, and pretty cool.

The other option was the Warwick. Are we better off in the West-end? Price isn't really an issue.
