I think we will jump on Vikes early just like the Iggles in the first game against the Iggles. Favre will get harried and sacked trying to avoid our front 7 and throw 2 or 3 picks hopefully one for a pick 6. They will abandon the run and AP.

Just heard Trent Dilfer say the Cowboys pose a huge matchup problem for the Vikings.
Dilfer has been spot on all year. I hope he's right again.

Minnesota has lost 3 of the last 4, right? They're good, but the Cowboys can handle them. New Orleans was undefeated at home until Dallas came to house. The Vikings will suffer the same fate.

That is what I heard 3X today since the game ended. The Vikings will HAVE to leave in a RB and/or TE to block the pressure from our frontline. Our D hasn't had to blitz to often and it has often lead to coverage sacks because we keep opposing teams on 3rd and longs.

The Minny secondary is a weak point for them. Also, losing E.J. Henderson is huge. He's a real good middle linebacker and he was also the defensive play caller. The front 4 is a concern but other than A. Winfield I think the secondary can be exploited. The line will have its hands full with the Williams boys.

You've got to be kidding me.

They also have this guy called Adrian Peterson in the backfield.
And.. He fumbles a lot and also didn't have a great season.

Adrian Peterson is the biggest difference... Dallas must bring their big boy pants for next week's game!

YOU are the only one that understands the true threat...it takes a frieght train to stop PETERSON.....he is the best in the NFL. ....RICE and the TE is a average team...STOP PETERSON...and the boys will have a chance....however it will take 27 or more points to win.. I'll bet WARE helps FARVE up off the turff 5 times or more WARE= 4 sacks

The Vikings and Saints have peaked and are in a downtrend. The BEARS? They scored alot of points on the Vikings and beat them and it's not like the Vikings had their starters out.

The Saints? Have they won since we beat them? Nope...Lost to a 2-12 team (Jags) when they faced them and a 7-8 team (Panthers) when they faced them.

Vikings have lost to Pittsburgh, not in the playoffs, Arizona, Carolina and the bears....the last two not in the playoffs. Carolina really lit them up. They are 2-3 in the last 5 weeks. They really haven't played anybody except for the Packers....plus we beat them in pre-season which means absolutely nothing. :)

Let's face it, they haven't met a team like us....

Oh yeah, I intercepted a call by Favre....he called his wife and told her "Honey, make reservations for our vacation starting on Monday..." That should tell you something. :)

Peterson...not rushed for 100 games in 7 straight games....make it 8!

Chris Johnson is pretty good....but I agree that AP is a real threat....WP will have a game-plan to stop the Vikings....

No he's not. People overrate Peterson. This guy had 3 100 yard games this season against Cleveland, Detroit and Baltimore. He fumble 7 times, lost 6 and avg 3.5 per carry his last 7 games.

Theyve had the tiff up here, even Ed Werder was all over it for awhile,: between Farve and Head coach...

Farve wanted to air it out more,........hc wanted play call weighted to the run

seems as if Farve won out....at the expense of AP

I hope ur right...but the Boys always have a hard time with big Hard hitting RB's....ALA the Giants game..and the RAVENS....I have faith in Jenkins..Newman and Scandrick...to slow the Deep threat

The biggest differences are:

1) The Vikings dont depend on big plays to score. Favre is old as dirt, but still more accurate than McNabb and has proven he will dink and dunk all day.

2) And we gotta tackle Peterson. We did a pretty good job on him the only other time we've played them. They can run the ball and will try to, unlike Philly

3) Defensively, Minny's front 4 is alot better than Philly's and thats a concern, but Philly's CB's are alot better than the Vikes. The Vikes dont force many turnovers so if Romo gets time, we will make alot of plays downfield.

4) In a close game, Ryan Longwell gives them a big edge. He's money.

That is what I hate right there....our LB's need to play tough coverage in the middle of the field....hate dink and dunkers!

You don't run on Pat Williams and Kevin Williams

Well you sure don't run easily up the middle. That to me is a big difference compared to the Eagles.

Favre won't choke either....or wilt under a pass rush.

Nope....he'll revert to what he was in seasons past....an INT machine. He still has a tendency to just throw it up...he hasn't been burned too many times this year....I predict at lease one INT by both Jenkins AND T-New!
