The team looked pretty poor against the Steelers. Defense slowed the Steelers, but didn’t get much pressure in the QB. The team as a whole looked “lost”.

Against the Cardinals the defense performed pretty well for the lost part. Got a lot more pressure on the QB. The team played with a better sense of urgency, and more organized.

The defense played much better overall, even though the defense gave up some big outside runs due to failure to contain the run, especially to the outside. I’m no X’s and O’s Expect but it sure seemed like on the longer runs the outside containment issues were due to not performing their assignments rather than lack of talent. And most of that was by guys who will not be on the team or playing much in the season.

A lot more players “flashed” in the Cardinals game than against the Steelers.

I think they looked somewhat better against the Cards. But I would not say like day and night difference. But it was noticeable enough. Other than the run game. They never seem able to stop a running QB.

If by some reason, the Cards cut that QB, Dallas better be picking him up.
Agree many players flashed more than in the Steelers game. A lot of them took. a step up to making the team, or at least the PS.

The back up WR's still have work to do, however, look at the QB's, not helping. But they had a lot of drops. My top 5 are still the same. With Turner and Fehoko competing for th 6th spot. However, if it keeps up, they may only go with 5 WR's.

Our backup offensive players aren't very good.

Backup center needs a lot of work but he's only been doing it a few weeks. Backup tackles are bad, forcing backup QB 's to look even worse than normal at times. Wr's are ok at best and we better hope they aren't needed on a regular basis.
