Both Jaylon Smith and John Hanna were on the NFI list.
Jaylon was activated and Hanna was not.
Reading tea leaves some more but highly doubt they activate Jaylon if there was no chance he will play.

May be Cowboys are doing it for PR despite 5-1/6-1/7-1/8-1/9-1, Zeke, Dak ...
But I doubt it since they dont need any more PR at this point.
Perhaps they prefer Jaylon hype vs. Dak/Romo hype, but this is really stretching things (not the nerve...)

On Hanna, FISH from the beginning was saying his knee situation was eerily similar to Anthony Spencer. And it does appear that is correct.

Disappointing for Hanna. Our fastest TE and a good point of attack blocker. I hope Escobar continues to improve blocking, although I didn't notice how much of a difference there was between he and Swaim.

Hoping to see #54 out there some time this season. Next year to contribute as a starter hopefully but the hype train will begin when he is active for a game!

It's James Hanna by the way. Looks like he had another surgery.

"While #Cowboys will active Jaylon Smith & Darren McFadden off NFI, TE James Hanna had knee surgery to fix a lingering issue. His season ends"

Yes. PR. Because most fans know all about NFI rules.

And this is hype how?

I would imagine Dallas should be absolutely buzzing about the record climbing weekly to 9-1, Dak the miracle 4th rounder, Zeke the mvp candidate, Zeke's eating motion, Zeke's shirts, the best draft in history, the OL from hell, the little D engine that could, Gregory's suspension, ...

I would imagine that should be enough.
Give the other sports teams a chance, gosh.

Maybe we should believe what Gil Brandt said that Jerry told him. Look for Jaylon Smiths return around week 14.

Hoping but it might send some Zoners, the ones that have said it was a stupid pick and that Jaylon will never play football for this team ever into a frenzy. You guys know who you are. If not this year I would bet the house he plays next year without a doubt.
